Indeed a great analysis by someone who neither has any cricket knowledge nor any memory. The many matches SG won for India are available in the net. Anyone who wishes to know can find out. Just to remind the ignorants, in WC 2007, under Dravid's capaincy, India lost 2 matches and won only against minnows Bermuda. SG was the 2nd highest run scorer after Viru. SG's score was almost equal to what Sachin, Dravid & Dhoni scored combinedly. Agreed that the strike rate was less. But in Bangladesh match, had he not held up one end, India would've been all out at a much lower score. Those who've watched the match live know how painful it was to score runs amidst losing partners at the other end at a faster rate. KKR didn't suffer becoz of SG but due to lack of proper supporting batsmen. SG won 3 matches in IPL1. But in IPL2 he lost the interest which was appropriate becoz of the insult meted out to him and SRK was part of it. Dravid never faced any problem becoz of him. It's cooked up by some daydreamers.

SRK dont worry
by ganessin virappin on Jan 12, 2010 02:38 AM

SRK dont worry, KKR will again end in the bottom 4. KKR and MI are the worst IPL teams which did not reach even semi-finals in the first two editions of IPL. KKR has huge dependency on foreign players. One-third presence(4 players) of good foreign players is not going to change the fate of KKR. You need good domestic players to win matches like RR. The domestic players of KKR are good for nothing. SRK please get out of cricket and or learn from Vijay Mallaya on how to select good T20 players.

you still need to learn!!
by Atul Thakur on Jan 11, 2010 10:15 PM

Shahrukh you have done one good thing that you have given due importance to Dada now. he didn't deserve the treatment given to him in 2nd IPL. he is best captain we had and you trusted buchnan. Buchnan had people like hayden, gili, ponting to make Aus great and hayden and gilli have shown they can make any team great. Ganguly made indian team great when everyhting was down. now he has chosen Wasim coz he knows what is best around. he backed players like yuvi, viru, bhajji etc none from WB. he is true leader. You still need to learn the fact that you might not win this time also but I am quite sure performance will be better. no team can be sure of winning in T20 coz other teams also have great players. another thing is if team wins then its not you who will give performance so stop saying that you will deliver. you have delivered in movies which is your work now stop talking nonsense and just trust Dada.
