You could argue that it is the duty of everyone to pay their taxes but how many do so? In fact, Sachin got an award from the govt a few years back for his payment of taxes.

It doesn't matter. It is still considered as TAXABLE income for that earner and he must have to pay tax

hes not paying taxes out of freewill...he is paying most because hes earning the most. I don't see any point in praising him.If he had spent some on charity, we could be proud of him.

Hindu text say that the charity has to be secret. Nobody should take credit for his donations.
See the income of our National Hockey players and other sportsmen!!! Chicken feed, the board need to look into the welfare and boost the morale of our sportmen. Which is severely lacking. Are you listening Mr.Kalmadi??

Kalmadi will be busy minting money through the conduct of CWG that is bound to end up as a disaster. Itz already a severe drain on the ex-chequer with the Delhiites starting to pay a heavy price for voting back the inept and corrupt govt of Dixit for a third time.

thats why our nethas never pay tax. they earn more from under the table with no account for that money. So they do not pay any tax. They earn in crores on bribes
Indian cricketrs are doing proud to india by defeating loser aussies. so I propose to give them tax free salary, plus increment and more revenue from ads Jai Ho

TO win is their job and BCCI Plays for doing that. No Cricket played should be exempted from taxes. They are not playing for country at all. BCCI has said repeedly thay they are autonomus body. So why bother. These guys should treated just like any other rich businessmen in the country.
