by C M on Jan 10, 2010 02:27 AM

Few Youngsters are having "TTMTE" syndrome...Gaitam was talkig blah blah just before this triangular..and look his performance...Now Virat...Even if some idiot reporter put mike in front of these youngsters...Dotn they know wht to talk and when...?? Captain of under 19 winning team doens give him any qualification is it...? Remmeber who was captain of under 19 world cup winning team..in late ninties.? joginder or Saundhi? he is no where to be seen now...but Yuvi and Kaif made better than him of course Kaif is not in team now. Or some reporter purposely trying to promote some players from certain part of country...??

non playing guys here can talk anything and everything and think themselves to be armchair experts then wy not a 'kid' whos on teh ground playing in the team , is a decent contributor, a potential leader, part of team meetings comments and backs up his senior is pretty cool , whats wrong with that?? so his being positive about his team mate is distracting him from his duties? logic ? rather iut only prooves hes aware of the bigger picture and is thinking about his team, which is good.. this kind of negative and stereotype thinking is typical of certain people..crazy

wy not regardless of age and experience all must work as a unit and talk about each other, back each other up when they are in a team. he has not been asked about selecting or not selecting he has been asked about zaheer's poor performance thats it.

Rehan , you have asked valid question. But virat Kohli is the ex captain of the under 21 team which won the world cup in New Zealand.

He was just being a spokesperson on this given day for the team-it was a meet the press event.

He just repeated what the team management had parlayed to him. He did not speak disrespectfully or out of turn.

Plus he is being groomed as a future captain.

As such no malafide intentions be attached to him.

I agree the journalists are very shallow. Most of them do mass communications bachelors and join the beats at 15000 a month.

Have a nice day Rehan!!

remove all ausis cricketers from ipl at once.
by virat v on Jan 10, 2010 01:01 AM

remove all ausis cricketers from ipl at once.

sometimes, i feel movie associations r doing better job. they hv called for no shoots in ausis due to the prevailing situation there.
even amitabh bachhan has shown his anger at the incidents n refused to take some ausi honour in protest.
but this lalit modi rasK1l is not doing anything.
v shud at once, stop all the activities thru which ausis get benefits from us.
stop shooting in ausis land.
stop 'exporting' ind students for so-called higher studies.
stop taking ausis cktrs in ipl.

Zaheer should be out
by prashanth mothukuri on Jan 10, 2010 12:15 AM  | Hide replies

I have been keep saying since a long time that Zaheer is a bad bowler and he is very political and has been destroying other bowlers performance and thereby their future to make his place safe in the team. Whenever Zaheer is not in the team talented bowlers plays well. But when he is around, all those performing bowlers fail consistently and thereby their place. For example, if a bowler like Ishant or Sreeshanth performs better than him in a match, in the next subsequent matches he would fail because Zaheer would do something to him in the nets.

For example, the list of the good bowlers got destroyed are as follows
1.Ashish Nehra performed well got destroyed earlier and now again.
2.Balaji,
3.Sreeshanth,
4.Ishant.( Ishant had been performing well before Zaheer came back to team)
5.Now I am worried about next talent Tyagi

So its in the best interest of indian team and talented bowlers like Ishant and Tyagi, that he be axed as soon as possible. Also Zaheer in not a consistent performer. He is always expensive bowlers and does not strike or take wickets consistently. Intead to make his place safe in the team, he destroys other bowlers performances

Except good bowling from Ishant on the last Australian tour, his performance was disappointing. Tyagi just played one ODI.

And you want to replace experienced bowler like Zaheer with rookies Ishant or Tyagi. Give me a break.

Poor comment by Kohli
by amol raiwad on Jan 09, 2010 11:56 PM

Today,it is known that Indian bolwing is d weakest in all forms of bowling. If Kohli has to say on anything on it........better Dhoni should resign as he doesn't have much to say on it than Bhaji'sn't doing well.
BTW who is Kohli? commenting on anything??? Is it something by saving 2 matches so far,1 can feel like getin rights commenting!!!
Or is it this media makin something going into nets for news????

Zaheer is back to his merry ways...
by Manu Zach on Jan 09, 2010 11:05 PM

Not so long ago, Zaheer Khan struggled to find form due to his increasing waist-line, and it seems that the old problem is coming back. With his spot now secure, the so-called spearhead of Indian bowling attack is back to his merry ways of not caring about his physical fitness.

we are putting lot of pressure on our cricketers
by jxcess on Jan 09, 2010 09:47 PM

thats why they are under performing. I think we should increment salaries of all cricketers, plus make it tax free and not limit number of advertisements. in this way they can play with a free mind
