he was dropped for lack of performance in the first instance, now he has come back but how? on what performance he comes back? not justfied his selection.
What a stupid selection for a tour which India should use to try out their bench strength. People like Sachin should have been rested further and the likes of Badrinath and Pujara should have been given a chance. What is the point in selecting your best team against Bangladesh when you know 3 of the batsman will retire right after one another soon? Bowling department - Where is Nehra ? Why Ishant Sharma is a question no one can answer . Hope he is not in the 11 atleast.On what basis was Badrinath dropped ? He didn't play a test match , scored 2 100s in Ranji after that to show his form and gets dropped. God save such poor cricketers from crazy selections !

Very true. I could not agree with you more. This is ridiculous. This was a golden opportunity to give rest to Sachin, and at the same time give opportunity to other players to prove themselves. And BCCI have been extremely unfair to a talented and loyal player named Badrinath. He must be made a regular player in the team, at least in tests/ODI. This is so demoralizing for him. I feel very sad for him, and other players like Pujara, Karthik (both), Dinda. Dinda is a very good pace bowler and he must be groomed if we want to win WC2011. All are dreaming about WC2011 just relying on the so hyped batting line up. That is why we are kicket out in very first round. BCCI must take steps towards strengthening bring more allrounders like Mitchell Johnson in the team. BCCI, are you listening??

i don't know the reason for selecting 3 spinners for such a small series and that too in our neighborhood. We all know that only Harbhajan is going to play. So only one reserve spinner would have been enough.
Also 16 players selected for 2 test matches. I think we should go with 13 players. Because series is being held in Bangladesh so in case of any injury anyone could have gone in a short notice.
Whats the hell is goings on what happen to selection comitee why ishant sharma ?????? i hink they have paid for this ridiculous job i need to know where is Irfan pathan?????

Ishant's selection is horrible. in the present ranji match too, he didnt perform superbly. Ishant was not picked for the recent odi vs srilanka, when sreesanth got out, he got a chance to play,what happened? He gave away runs at an economy of 10 and not so many wickets. The selectors shld have understood in seeing that. but now he gets his place in the team. I dont know why?

I believe this could be the only way Ishant can have his confidence back by taking bulk of the wickets against the minnows of cricket. Nice joke naa?? Cheers!!!

You seems to be unneccessarly poking your nose here. Do you know Ishant is just 20 years and the only first Fast Bowler India has produced as of now. By picking him selectors wants to keep his motivation up as he is the real future. The way he troubles aussies in Australia shows how great he is. He is a kind of bowler who shouldn't be sacked so soon. So better keep your nose out and try to analyse the players.

what must be bowlers like munaf, irfan, parveen and RP be thinking about the selectors and Dhoni when flop player like ishant gets picked time and time again.
RP has been flop in four day games this year while irfan has performed well with both bat and well and munaf has taken 16 wickets from 4 games @22.37
irfan has scored 397 runs @ 49.62 and taken 22 wickets @ 18.54 from 5 games. he could be a good number 7 allrounder for india in Test matches
