We are proud of you Sudip for not only donning the Indian colurs but being the first Tyagi to represent the nation at the highest level. May god bless you with longevity and excellence in this game of Cricket.

i am perfecly sure india will not win the bangldesh tri-series and am also in doubt that they caN LOOSE TO BANGLADESH IF there FELDING & BOWLING remains like nambia [a third division ICC team.].hope shree/ashish/harbajan are given a well deserved FORCED BREAK [droped for team for the hole season]..and PLAYERS like TYAGI/MURLI KARTIK / IRFAN PATHAN are brouhgt back with a sencire full live public apology by team management

Tygi yes , but Sreeshanth better
by Prakash Narayanan on Jan 02, 2010 03:53 AM  | Hide replies

Yes tyagi is a good bowler, but i feel sreeshanth is better for somany reasons..

1. sree is focussed.
2. only sree keep a pace of 150 or more...
3. His ruthless nature is only in the pitch.
this is clearly visible when u see him in
dance perfomances. he is very friendly
there.
4. he speaks very politely about his seniors.
5. A god loving personality he thanks god
after every delivery..

After some time it is clear that, Sree is the best fast bowler india produced after kapil..

Vande Mataram...

Kotla
by Sudarsan on Jan 02, 2010 03:11 AM

At Kotla, Tyagi's speed made it all the more harder for the batsmen because he was bowling at 140 consistently unlike Ishant, Nehra or Zaheer who go up and down. Tyagi needs to be well groomed. It can also b brush up Ishant who will want to be one up on Tyagi and it will breed healthy competition in the team. Ishant and Tyagi are India's fast bowling future. Both tall and lanky guys, get good bounce.

Thank God!!!
by Surya TheGreat on Jan 02, 2010 01:08 AM  | Hide replies

Thank God, when a promising fast bowler like Tyagi is in team we don't have world's slowest fast bowler Prasad around as a coach. I thank BCCI wholeheartedly for sacking him.

Not only Tyagi, we should form a pool of pace bowlers. I hope BCCI will recruit some serious fast bowler as a bowling coach. I'm not saying we need some foreigner as a bowling coach but we shouldn't have jokers like Prasad as bowling coach.

tyagi looks talented.
by vinay on Jan 02, 2010 12:51 AM  | Hide replies

tyagi looks to b a good talent. he was consistently bowling 140 plus. he is young n can also improve his speed n learn the art of swing/seam bowling.

only thng is he shudnt follow the footsteps of so-called faster munaf, n ishant both of whom hv reduced their speed in the name of accuracy

tyagi has a great bowling speed and action that makes him a perfect fast bowler for world cup... with whooping 145 in his debut and a superb record in t20 and ranji proves his mettle

Tyagi should not follow the example of Ishant - promising to deceive.

promising player

Tyagi is a gud bowler and must get enough backing from dhoni and kirsten. we all know that we are very weak in our bowling department. we must encourage fresh talent and BCCI must also consider a good bowloing coach but not venkatesh prasad.

BCCI should explore more and more speedsters & spinners
by Carti Rengasamy on Jan 01, 2010 07:38 PM  | Hide replies

The performance of Tyagi is encouraging for Team India.

Mr. K. Srikanthi should initiate steps for recruitment of more and more speedsters & spinners instead of depending upon the existing bowlers in the team.
