This is the most ridiculous decision. This will effectively ban switch hitting as the fielding time will most likely appeal against the batsman for wasting time.

But then this would test the skill of the batsman as well. He would have to prove that he is equally adapt at playing switsh shots at the last moment.

But how will he play the shot if the bowler doesn't bowl? :)
Also, a bowler might stop immediately as he sees the batsman move, claiming that he "was going" to switch stance and then the batsman will be the one to get the warning? :)
