Modi will be doing his best to make sure that nothing untoward happens during the IPL. If something bad happens, then it will be curtains for IPL and nobody will want to tour India. The only risk the player has to take is that if something happens, he might be the one hit. I think most players would take the risk and go.
Haha, Modi rocks. He asked the right question, Will Aussies backoff in Oct 10 when they r due to play 7 ODIs in India, their money coffins will bleed if they ignore playing India.
I liked the way Modi handled the situation. I am 100% agree that no other players association can dictate the terms with BCCI(in fact even ICC cant). If interested then come if not then forget it. But now big responsibility on Indian shoulders and good luck for success in IPL.

Babu Bhaiya, please get over this bhaiyan thinking!!!!
Monetary interests apart, there is pride at stake to hosts this and other events like FIH World Cup, Commonwealth Games etc in the near future.
As you may already know, like ACA all boards can encourage the players to follow a rotation policy. This way the players get the much needed break and can continue to showcase, perform and compete with the best.
