u should see his dismissal starting from t20 in aus as also inipl and also when he played a newer ball in 2 inning then u will be convinced
I dont understand why sachin has been rested when he can play 100 overs in last match. Does Dhoni dosent want him to be No 1 in ranking and Man of series ? My request to all Gujarati Bhais is dont go to see the match if sachin is not in team tomorrow n pass this message to all.

U r abs right dude.Manish Pandey is brt batsman as well as brt fielder but not getting a single chance why? sri is deemed idoit.
I can't understand this type of ridiculous selection. Why are they taking new players (like Abhisek Nayar ) & then kicking out from the team without playing a match ? They only play as substitute in the time of fielding if someone injured or give water to the players in ground. If this happens then think that player about the feelings in the mind. This is just gambling . What's about the selectors? They are giving attention to pick up the players from their regions. Sreekant what r u doing man? Are u playing with the new players on the outfield ? Stop this man.........

Agree with you; When they are giving opportunities to new players, Abhishek shud have defy been considered as he has been quite consistent in the domestic arena. Also I wud have liked to see Irfan Pathan and Manish Pandey come in place of Vijay and Sreesanth/Nehra. Vijay is more of a test specialist and its better that they dont try him in the shorter version. Also Dhoni shud take a break but then the issue will come as to who will captain the team with no Veeru or Gambir.India dont mind losing the game so its better they try out a totally new combination to see how they fare against a quality opposition
Both Nehra and Sreesanth are inconsistent and need to be Dropped. This is the time to try new guys completely having won the series already. Already 31, Nehra is not a realistic choice for the 2011 World cup. Look back at RP Singh. He has the potential in him. Nehra bowls Mindlessly short or wide and once he gets hit...give a BIG GRIN..... sickening... Poor in fielding. Not the International player material..but only in India, he could have played 99 ODIs... hmmmppp..Sreesanth is the most inconsistent bowler around. He either has very good day or a worst day - not the quality for international standards.
M.Vijay doesn't deserve to be in ODI. Really really shud have tried Manish Pandey. This is where we differ from pakistan - they are bold enough to try young talents. The only exception was Sachin, we tried him at 17 and have been reaping benefits for 20 yrs now.
For me it doesnt matter about Tamil/Hindi/Bengali as long as a selected player is an Indian. Don't make too much of it. Just see the quality of the player and not the direction from where he is coming.
I think Srikkanth is a far better selector than Vengsarkar or Kiran More. Having seen him from close quarters, he is a straight forward person and doesn't mess around with petty politics. Strategies can go wrong for any of us, but Objective (to make India Win) would never go wrong. Not with him too.

i totally agree with you that Srikkanth is a far better selector than Vengsarkar or Kiran More. Sure Manish Pandey should have been tried instead of M Vijay I hope they give a try to A Mithun instead of making him to warm the bench like test

You guys are totally wrong. Srikanth is the worst selector till now in India. I dont understand the logic behind his selection. Instead of giving rest to bowlers like Nehra and Srishanth, they are still in squad. Also a player like Rohit Sharma is taken again inspite of giving lots of chances to him. Waste in investing in him. (41 matches-only 4 fifties with highest score of 70). Yesterday he was out for duck bowled by a TN local player. He is not suited for international matches but he has lots of hold in selection panel to be in the squad. A player like Manish pandey who is the only Indian to score an IPL century and a real talent is not even given a single chance instead of a repeated failure like Rohit. Also very harsh on Abhishek Nair to be selected in squad and without giving a chance been thrown out. Dont forget he scored a century against SA for board president XI. Vijay also is an average player and is not an international material to be given lots of chances. We should also give a chance to Vinay Kumar with Mithun as they are the most consistent bowlers in domestic circuit. I am now praying that this selection commitee's tenure gets over soon or else India will suffer. India is winning just coz of their power in batting. There is no vision for the selectors to try out new bowlers like Aus do recently in every match trying new bowlers before world cup. Unless selectors and Dhoni give chance to new players not by picking in squad but to play them in XI, we are not go

you dreamer do you know what is International standards,, Sreesanth is a wicket taker & defeniteky a match winner,,,we dont want to waste a bowler place by ging quota to north India or south Indians,All are Indians...Sree is best after Zaheer

Yes, Sreesanth is a wicket taker agreed. And I would say better than Nehra or Irfan Pathan too. But he has been consistently Inconsistent if you check the stats of his last 15 one dayers. There is nothing to dream in this id!ot.. We all see what is international standard in the matches played and I am following cricket for last 25 yrs.
This is one match I would really love to watch. Its always good to see young guns firing. And it will certainly teach our young players how to cope with pressure and apply their talents accordingly. Dhoni is a great team captain who, I have never seen, puts any pressure on his team mates and let them use their minds freely. Just like Sachin Da..
Some people are afraid of height. If they are taken too high than what they can withstand and they look down below, they behave in very strange manner. I find some of our cricket fans in a similar league. Quite a few people have gone crazy on India reaching no. 1 in Test cricket and no. 2 in ODI, something that had never been achieved in the past. They are baying for Dhoni’s blood for getting back into their comfort zone. One can only sympathise with such hapless individuals. Regarding Dhoni’s alleged attempt to deprive Sachin of double century, our arm chair cricket fans need to be reminded that in their anxiety to see Sachin reach this milestone asap, they forget the cricketing logic. Sachin was on 199 and he could not have needed more that 2 or 3 balls to get that 1 run. Sachin as well as Dhoni knew it. So, they played accordingly in the best interest of the Team. My friends are seeing ghosts where there is none. They are forgetting that Dhoni became captain on Sachin’s suggestion. Sachin is a genuine cricket lover and a team lover. It was remarkable to see Sachin voluntarily accept error in choice of shots in certain previous innings, perhaps referring to the shot against Aussies when he got out at 175. Only great and honest cricketers can talk like this.
