Guys remember last T20 world cup Dhoni had played a major role to skip Irfan from the team and he successes …. But team India got suck……. From then on he has not been added to team India….. he has played last domestic session and was rated as best all-rounder, still not selected….. HE IS NOT injured … but not still selected…. Don’t understand what ius the basis of selection …..
Also 4 wicketkeepers ( Dhoni, Karthik, Nojha, Saha ) the best all-rounder not selected ???? really pathetic ….. happens only in INDIA…….

R.Uttappa and A.Agarkar, How many chances you want to give them. Accept it man, they just don't have it in them to make the cut.
Not a single player from Assam and Jharkhand,the toppers of the east zone in MUSTAQ ALI T20 COMPETITION are picked up..Why not DHIRAJ GOSWAMI(a genuine allrounder),SAURABH TIWARI(good batsman),ISHANK JAGGI(All rounder),PERVEZ AZIZ(hard hitting batsman) OR ABU NECHIM(one of the fastest bowler in the country) ? These are some of the best T20 players in the country.Most people of India does not know they as they have neither got the national platform to perform,nor BCCI selection committe has taken any interest,nor media has any interest on the cricketing talents of the east and the north east.. It was only a list of probables.. no one from ASSAM , ORISSA , TRIPURA ,BENGAL, JHARKHAND !!!...except..WRIDHIMAN SAHA..who is not better than any of the player mentioned above...is his selection only for the sole reason that he cannot be a threat to Dhoni ? Yes,I am true Indian,and I am saying in national interest.Giving chance to all the states will improve the talent pool in the country,increase unity in diversity.Yes,we cannot say Indian team as the private property of BCCI or our national hero Tendulker a private property of BCCI.Government of India has given the authority to BCCI to develop and run cricket in the country.BCCI enjoys tax benefit from the government.So,why they should concentrate only on some conventional pockets of cricket. We need to explore more,we still does not have the fastest bowler,a genuine all rounder or a precision spinner..
Mithun, Vinay and Manish - better watch out. You will not be in the final team because the Chairman of BCCI Selection Commitee and the Senior Vice President of BCCI, belong to TN and who don't like to encourage and support players from Karnataka.Otherwise, can any body explain the rationale of dropping Abhimanyu Mithun from the team for the recently concluded Test Series against South Africa?

IT'S SIMPLE.IF MITHUN WAS HIT HEAVILY BY THE SOUTH AFRICANS IN THE TEST SERIES,IT WILL BE A END OF HIS CAREER.I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SRIKANTH HAS SELECTED MITHUN,VINAY AND MANISH IN THE PROBABLES LIST?IF HE IS A TN SUPPORTER,HE SHOULD HAVE SELECTED BADRI..SHUT YOUR MOUTH.HE IS NOT AGAINST YOUNG TALENT..I WANTS TO ASK U ONE QUESTION.IF ONE OR TWO PLAYERS FROM KARNATAKA HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR THE T20 SERIES,WILL U PRAISE SRIKANTH OR TAMIL NADU?IF IT'S HAPPEN,I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR MESSAGE IN THIS BOARD IN FUTURE.BET....

Srikanth is the worst selector till now in India. I dont understand the logic behind his selection. Instead of giving rest to bowlers like Nehra and Srishanth, they are still in squad. Also a player like Rohit Sharma is taken again inspite of giving lots of chances to him. Waste in investing in him. (41 matches-only 4 fifties with highest score of 70). Yesterday he was out for duck bowled by a TN local player. He is not suited for international matches but he has lots of hold in selection panel to be in the squad. A player like Manish pandey who is the only Indian to score an IPL century and a real talent is not even given a single chance instead of a repeated failure like Rohit. Also very harsh on Abhishek Nair to be selected in squad and without giving a chance been thrown out. Dont forget he scored a century against SA for board president XI. Vijay also is an average player and is not an international material to be given lots of chances. We should also give a chance to Vinay Kumar with Mithun as they are the most consistent bowlers in domestic circuit. I am now praying that this selection commitee's tenure gets over soon or else India will suffer. India is winning just coz of their power in batting. There is no vision for the selectors to try out new bowlers like Aus do recently in every match trying new bowlers before world cup. Unless selectors and Dhoni give chance to new players not by picking in squad but to play them in XI, we are not going to Win the world cup.

Mithun and Vinay has been selected during Srikanth peroid over their performances.They won't be selected,if any other selector was there.realize it.he is supporting the talents in the south india.mind it.

India is no 1 only in Tests not in ODI's and its because of their batting power not all round skills. If we compare our bowling standards with Aus, we are no where near them. We should develop a good bench strength where we can rotate players n still win matches as we never know some imp players may miss out due to injury in crucial tournaments..its not a short term goal, its a long term goal and we should invest now onwards on new pool of talents.

Srikanth and Dhoni are the people who pick the players and depending on their performance only our future holds. So instead of giving chance to repeated failures like Rohit y dont we invest in new players?

They are professionals and they know better than you. I believe you forgot the ability of Rohit to clear the boundary. And dont forget this is Twenty20. We cant miss rohit, raina, yusuf....

Playing domestic and international matches are two different things. A domestic performer need not necessarily be a good international player. Let us not therefore take domestic performance as the only benchmark for selection - The selection process is therefore reasonaly OK. Although Vinay kumar and Mithun are there based on their domestic performances, it will not always be true that they will excel in international arena, given a chance.

Only 3 players from TN and there is no way for ashwin and vijay to make into last 15. Only quality and capable players will be selected from this list.
