Iceland Premier League or International Premier League
by Ganesh on Feb 23, 2010 03:59 PM  | Hide replies

Best is to call it ICELAND PREMIER LEAGUE)
All Balls will freeze :-) . Test of endurance too. This is real test of cricket and MASCULINE skills you see. How MEN stay on icy, cold surface and plays 40 overs.

Cricketers should bowl with some kind of special ball and play with some kind of special non wooden, waterproof bat and all players must be on roller skates.

I think this kind of cricket on ice has already been tried once in Switzerland and even our Kapil Dev paaji participated in this.

Dancing girls on ice. Ice cold Entertainment.

(OR)

Call it INTERNATIONAL PREMIER LEAGUE (IPL) and host it in some country like say Greece, Moldova, Finland or Fiji Islands or say Hawaiian islands or Galapogas Islands or even Cook Islands :-)

INTERNATIONAL PREMIER LEAGUE is more apt a name to give because this involves not just Indian players and officials, but many foreign players, foreign dancing girls and lot of foreign money , foreign equipment for telecast and all that.

All umpires should be well trained in Mortal combat, kung fu, karate, wushu, taekwondo, kalaripayattu, judo and ludo also :-)

Only commando umpires should be there to safeguard players when they are taking runs or running after the balls which are flying on their heads for sixes or fours.

Even dancing girls should be well trained in all martial arts and extreme combat on all terrains including ice and snow.

All the International kirket pillayers :-) should also be atleast trained in basic martial arts before giving them chance to play in stadiums.

Security is everybody's ball game. Everybody should contribute to keep the game secure and safe and sound and whatnot :-)

Sour Grapes

Seems the people who made this report have personally nothing to gain monetarily from the IPL!! So trying to discourage those who stand to gain much. If someone threatens them, they may even not venture out of their homes!! :))

Security Concern!!
by Raja mani on Feb 23, 2010 02:12 PM

Countries are afraid of the threat by terrorists,

It might be a good suggestion to come as one unit for this cash rich, entertaining tournament.

The participating nations, may also arrange for security of their players along with the local security arrangements.

The cost for Security Arrangements for the players of participating nation should be borne by the IPL organisers.

Thus, together we can fight against such threats

Pakistan told India two years back and not to exaggerate and potray bad image of pakistan. But they did not listen to them. Same is Pakistan is suggesting India for Taliban issue that not to support them they will retaliate Against india one day too. I feel bad for india i am 110 percent sure that coming wolrd cup might not stage in subcontinent. When Foreigners are refusing for IPL which is a lower level tournament what would be their reaction for the World Cup? A big Question Mark.

Does Pakistan requires India's propoganda to frame it as a terrorist state? No dear, Pakis are doing it themselves with their acts. If nobody is visiting Pak for playing, its a frustration that is sounding thatIndia should not be visited. Rest IPL is a commercial organisation, if you are not attending, its your financial loss. Threat to the world cup, fine who cares.
