I feel for this guy, since he was thrown out of RR for a minor misdemeanour. Also, comically he says he was bowling "stump to stump" which according to my understanding he bowling from close to stump on the off stump line. But he was bowling from wide of the stump to the stumps, so there was a difference

the captain put karthik and rohit on top, many times to FAIL so dhoogi looks better, how cheap this baaabua is, you know.

Rohit has been ejected like Kaif and karthik by none other than ....
In Auz, rohit did quite well. He showed how to play them. Dhogi readily tried to ape him because his job was safe due to wicket-keeping. Ishant gave him practice to play the bouncy auz wickets.
it is wrong when people/media/babuas over-hyppe dhogii,
dhoogi did not build team india, it was Indian players struggle to stay in XI, infact dhogi ejected anyone who was his competitor (rohit, karthik, kaif, etc).
Dhoogi just built fort for himself to leech/latch his place into the team, he just latched on.
It looks as though he did something special, which he did not. India lost both the last World 1 dayer and world T20.
They/selectors cannot break/unwind the jinx of Captain-WK and batsmen COMBO tactics that Dhogi has setup fort himself, he shifts his order up/down per his own personal convenience [by using night watch-men, etc].
This fort dhogi has setup is hard to jack. He makes deals, plays politics, etc. and gets away by a fanatic baaabua loooby who is on media, etc --
it is only srikant who tried to make him comply, but crooked dhoogi gave him a twist and offered him a deal and carrot instead.

I am not fully agree with E-Darwin, Dhoni can send any batsman according to the needs of the team, one is not fixed his position except opening batsman. So accordingly, batsman should prepare himself for any position.
All the time we are told that Dinesh Karthik is a specialist wicket keeper and back up for Dhoni. Then why does he play as a specialist batsman? when we have upcoming talent Pujara ( scorer of 3 triple centuries), Pandey ( in unbelievabe form), Rohit Sharma ( a genuine talent) , all waiting while Karthik plays as a specialist batsman. Good as he is, Karthik is not a better bat than them.

I do believe in Pujara and Pandey but please don't mention Rohit's name, he got lot of chances, he played 41 ODI (some players play in their career) and hasn't proved yet, why him - I have played cricket I know, technically he is good but if he doesn't score then leave him we want kind of players who score!!!!

I fully agreed Prashant Gundani's view. As far Rohit is concerned he was given enough opportunities compared to any players for last 1 decade.

Dinesh Karthik scored 150 plus in both innings of Duleep Trophy. Can you say whether any Indian specialist batsman has scored 150 plus in both the innings of a first class match?
Pujara is a strong batsman (though out of the 3 Triple centuries you have mentioned only one is first class match) but he had been injured and missed the entire last season. He is just getting back and was in the XI that played the first class match with SA. He will get his place soon and I would say he is best suitable for Tests and should make his debut in Tests first.
Manish Pandey has just played one season of domestic cricket. Just playing one season in Ranji does not necessarily mean he should get selected immediately. People like Badri have played consistently for almost a decade to get into Indian team. That he plays aggressively makes him a contender for a place in all 3 types of cricket. He has many years ahead. Even Rohit is a useful cricketer for future. That does not mean selecting Karthik is in any way less in battings skills. He opened the batting for India in Tests and has played ODIs and T20s even before Srikkanth took over as selector.

This guy was one of the forces behind Rajasthan Royal's triumph in inaugrakl edition of IPL?? Now, they just have banned him from playing. Will Mr lalit modi stop doing the things at his wishes.... I mean what wrong thsi boy has done. Only thing that he was demanding the right price....
Rajasthan Royals never renewed his contract..so what was he supposed to do?? Begging RR to renew it?? If Rajasthan Royals was not renewing it, he was free to negotiate it with other franchises , right??

These are serious labour issues. And because it is BCCI who decided, jadeja has to suck it up now.
All are present stuff are useless. The most talked about (overrated) Zaheer is also useless and bowls well only in patches. The only option we therefore have is to import fast bowlers from abroad.

he is fine, he just scored 96 yesterday in the Vijay Hazare trophy couple of days back.
This is ridiculous, inspite of his hillareous performances, why is rohit sharma not being taken into the team. Folks shud'nt forget that he was the man who got the IPL trophy to Deccan charges. He is the man with spirit and he could also manage few overs with ball too and maily a good middle order batsman.. This is not fair on his part.. Mr. Srikant please be loyal and no partialites.... No body questioned how can Dhoni miss Kallis's catch at the crutial time of the innings..in Yusuf's bolwing..We could see the pressure on the players when yusuf just smiled at dhoni when he missed such an imp catch as he wants to retain his place in the team...WAKE UP GUYS>>>>>

As far as Rohit is concerned, he was given enough chances compared to any players for the last one decade. In case of Dhoni miss Kallis catch at the crutial time of the innings in Y.Pathan bowling and Y. Pathan smiled at Dhoni when he missed the catch, what you expected from Y. Pathan, should shout on Dhoni for the miss of catch. If you on the same place of Y.Pathan, then you will do the same. So, guy just wake up.

karthik should be included in the INDIAN fifteen men squad. he was dropped from the team in 2007 and made a comeback in the early 2009. After making his comeback into INDIAN ODI side, he has played 13 ODIs and in those ODIs his batting average is 40. If current form is considered as a criteria for selection then KARTHIK surely deserve a place in the INDIAN fifteen.
In his last 13 ODIs, he has played at different positions and the best thing is that he has scored runs at those positions.

Sreesanth - I agree to your points, but Ishant needs to go too, if you are using the same yard stick. I think its time to give more opportunities to youngsters like Tyagi, Ashwin etc. India has no dearth of talent in Batting. Its the bowling that really lacks..! How abt bringing back Irfan Pathan?
We need to sack either Srishant, who cannot be fit even for club level cricket or we should sack K.Srikanth,who is selecting the team on his wish. If any one want to play for India, they have to come and settle down in Chennai & play for tamil nadu, even you score avarage runs like Vijay or Badrinath is enough, you can be permanent in the team, you need not perform in the Indian team also.
