Final eleven for Jaipur ODI
by Nikhil Shah on Feb 21, 2010 01:48 PM

With injuries to Gambhir, Yuvraj and Harby absent the Indian eleven is as follow

Sachin
Sehwag
Kohli
Raina
Yusuf
Dhoni
Jadeja
Mishra
SreeSanth
Tyagi
Nehra

Though Dhoni likes Praveen he cannot be featured for the world Cup with an ECO rate of 5.1. We want to try
Tyagi for sure and Sreesanth may give us some strike
capability.

get rid of IPL garbage in indian team
by Talisman on Feb 21, 2010 01:23 PM

IPL garbage: These are players that dont have a good score in domestic cricket. In fact these guys cannot score a century against domestic bowlers.

Raina: Major weakness: His average in domestic cricket is a stinking 35. He CANT PLAY BOUNCERS AND not a sure bet. Yet. This brain dead selection committe including the captain keeps on picking him.

Jadeja: Average bowler and below average batsman. Classical IPL garbage.

Nayar: No good. IPL scum.

I dont see Kaif in the top 1000 cricketers in india right now.
He plays slow as a snail,if it is just for fielding, then even i can play for india lol

Who is the captain?
If Kaif should be picked for experience, why not sunil Gavaskar, Ashok mankad, Pataudi--they all have much more experience.

Sai- Perhaps, if we ignore your sarcasm and look at the facts, we can see how it makes sense. Kaif has recently, within the last 30 days scored a double hundread and a hundread back to back in Domestic cricket. Now, he is as agile as Yuvaraj on the field. If we apply age as the only logic, perhaps you wouldnt want to see Yuvaraj in the indian team either.

Kaif won the one-day series finals in england almost single handedly or with the help of Yuvaraj - a while back. i.e. for those that follow one-day matches and not just the IPL.

Hopefully, you see the point.
