Re: congrats amla

sachin need not prove anything. he is above comparison with amla or with any one. Amla had a good series that's all. Sachin had many, many series before that.. So comparing Sachin with amla is just foolishness..

Please leave sachin alone. No body is ready to tolerate adverse comment.I know taht no body is complete men in all respect but he is the best cricketer of the world. Even people could not digest comments of Bal Thackery. My sincere advise to think twice before making remark against Sachin
With all our drawbacks we won, remember they had an upper hand on day one and third day was a wash-out. I hope that the selectors do some introspection about the future of Indian team. No solid middle order batsman or quality spinner would hurt us badly in years to come. Till then be proud in being NO. 1
Amla - I think I have been quite fortunate on quite a few occasions, without doubt. Few drop catches here and there, I could have been dismissed before,"
bhajji - I played really well, we are deserved to win. iam in idiot.

Everyone is fortunate. Even Tendulkar was dropped early in his innings in which h made centuries.
Sehwag, Amla, Tendulkar, Dhoni, Laxman, Kallis - They all were lucky to score their centuries with multiple dropped catches and survived very close umpiring decisions.
But Yes, if you look at the personal records, Amla stands tall with 253 n.o, 113, 127 n.o, totalling 493 runs in two tests, Average 493, scoring century in all innings.
Also, his innings in Kolkata will be remembered as a landmark innings for the time to come. The way he worked to avoid defeat and almost took it to very close to finish, was incrediblle.

even amla was lucky to escape confident appeals, the reply shows that he could have been out. the umpires gave him benefit of doubt..but ofcourse he was well organized and deserves all the Accolades

tendulkar was given out numerous times to damage team india. sachin was not lucky (very often) in umpiring decision.

We have seen a bit of Murali Vijay and the much hyped Badrinath in the series. These batsmen may be promising but they still have a long way to go before being good enough to replace Dravid, Laxman or Sachin.
Let us not be so casual in clamouring for retirement of the seniors. Seriously, India still cannot win matches without seniors.

true!these so called seniors are the one who are actually giving us wins.the so called youngsters are just living happily under these stelwarts shadows.

funny. Buddy only when you give exposure to youngsters that they learn. How many indian youngsters have faced express pace bowling ?. First we need to get them the confidence temperament. For that we need to rotate the seniors in unimportant series. That will give opportunity for these guys to get some runs and also convert the 3s to 50s and 50s to 100s. Once they taste the 100, then they will also know how to. Remember gambhir and even sachin himself when he was a kid.
Indian blowing attack is weakest blowing attack. THey are No.1 by chance not by merit. If people believe on Ranking then we should give this credit to our batsman only to score much run on board. Indian blowing not capable to blowed out a team below 150 runs even weaker teams.
This only Luck of Indian Team nothing special performance

i think you are right.harbhajan has lost his so called touch which didn`t exist.when kumble was there,he put all the pressure thereby providing chance for bhajji to pick up wickets, but after kumble`s retirement, the chinks are showing.also as far as the fast ballers are concerned, only ishant and sreesanth showed promise, but these people(coaches and experts who didn`t do anything themselves in their playing days)providing their piece of minds to these youngsters have left them in the lurch.they seem to have forgotten their basic skills as well.
Re: Re: India

Both of you are wrong. Indian attack is actually a good attack. You cant win test matches if your bowlers cant take 20 wickets. So stop talking BS. If you are talking about ODIs then yes. Batsmen can win matches for you. Our test bowling is definitely weaker than it was a year ago considering performance of ishant and bhajji.

Mr. Virender, what will you say about the last series SA played at home against England.. SA had a gud bowling attack and they can't clinch the series at their own home.. England team's last batsmen helped the team to play draw, even your best bowlers like Steyn, Morkel was going on them.. Learn to appreciate our players first...

Then let him appreicate sachin and then amla. Let he dare not to critisize sachin. He is the greatest, and will be greatest of all times.

what a comparison. Amla has had one such series. Sachin lot many. So dont you compare. I dont say Amla is not good but its probably too early to compare him with legend of cricket...
