You have gone too far to expalin your point. Nw you are divering from actual issue. Its not about Sikh or keralite or maharshtrian. Even sachin is critized even after performing so well for last 20 yrs. So, bhajji's critizism is nothing in comparision. He is not above sachin nd I think u will agree. Even srishant is being blamed. So, stop this cast thing. If you are playing for India, u are prone for critizism. So, take it in your stride nd move on!!! Veer, I am not taking about the media criticism only, i am talking about the negative attitude ppl hv against Bhajji. PPl r quick to pull him down, but he never gets credit for his good performance. This negative attitide is only because he belongs to a particular community. Sachin never faces the kind of criticism that Bhajji faces.

There is so much support for SRK even though he openly supports the neighbouring terrorist state. Bishen bedi had just criticized Operation BlueStar, as a result of which he was thrown out of his job and faced a virtual social boycott for many years. See the difference. A Khan can openly support a terrorist state, whereas a Singh can not even raise genuine criticism.

Indians go gaga over khans whether in movies or cricket, but whenever a sikh tries to make his mark in any field, he is pulled down and criticized severely under 1 pretext or the other.
So many messages against Bhajji prove the fact that there is so much hatred against a particular community in the minds of people of our secular country. A man who has taken 350 wickets in tests , 600 wickets in both tests & ODIs dosent need to prove further he is a great spinner. Those guys singing Kumble's praises, I would like to remind them that Bhajji used to play in ODIs when Kumble was there, Kumble used to be dropped from ODIs. If Kumble was such a great bowler why was Bhajji preferred over him.
The great Kapil Dev took 434 wickets in 131 tests, whereas Bhajji has taken 350 wickets in 81 tests. Harbhajan is also a legend like Kapil and kumble, but many of our countrymen refuse to acknowledge this just because he belongs to a particular community and they fail to appreciate any good performance from him.
Mishra dint take a single wicket in his 54 overs in last test match, still not a single message against him, but we are still flooded with anti-bhajji messages even after his brilliant performance.

let me tell u the difference is only in tha pagri and nothing else.everything else is the same.and above all our pm is also a sikh.and bhajji is discriminated only because he is a sikh then how come he has played so many tests and odi?i think u also need a sreesanth like treatment from bhajji isnt it?

Mr Nandi, u probably do not know the difference between a punjabi hindu and a sikh is as much as difference between sun and moon. They hv some similarities, but there are lot of differences too.

No doubt you are a good player and a very effective one at that. But you definitely got to learn to have class when you speak your mind. Say whatever you wish to, but have some humour. Don't take yourself so seriously.

I have not seen such a stupid message on rediff till date. Only if you know how that community has come into existence, you would have never taken it to that level. People criticize bhajji more as he is senior in the team and we all expect. Mishra is new kid on the block........so not carrying lot of expectations.

Mishraji, if u close ur eyes like a pigeon to reality, i cant help it. But this is a fact that Bhajji is pulled down just because he belongs to a particular community. Otherwise after such a good performance still u wont see all msgs against any player.
