The eden track was a turner suiting Bhajji and and so the result. If one has to mention about consistency one can only mention about two players ,Dravid and Dhoni both never mentioned anything against Greg Chapel for obvious reasons.Sehwag has failed miserably and was not considered for WC 2007 but for Dravid, the then Cap single handedly fighting for him. Dravid has always fought from unlike some other cap. but relinquished the post not because he was afraid but the poliics going on and also the sge factor. Dhoni was vice to Dravid and even other day he was even recalled for ODI , Champions trophy at SA and was the highest scorer although India lost quite early. The contribution by Dravid is much more than any other Indian Player but is not given importance as Dravid , the great simply dislikes politics

It is pity that the winning team did not receive the man-of-the-match award. I respect the stand-by by hashim amla, but he was given the two awards-best batsman and the man-of-the-series award which he rightly deserves. But, the match turning point hero bhajji should have been adjudged as the man-of-the-match award who ensured a win instead of a possible draw. I think the judges have not been fair in giving the man-of-the-match award for the last test at the Eden Gardens.

Yes, if no India bowler could take a wicket of Amla, no SA batsman could face Bhajji's bowling. Also rain could not help the poor SA otherwise match would have been finished in 4 days lol!

Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag has proved their cricketing skill long before and Amla still has to prove more as he has played only 43 test matches with an moderate avg of 47 and 11 hundreds. Sehwag has made 300 twice and more than 150 run 13 times.

So you are accepting that laxman and Amla is comparable... that is what my point.
