1st is the team bat first . this team will bat onlythe 3rd innings of the entire test. the team batting second will bat the fourth innings . so thats what is 1 2 3 4.

there are 4 innings in a test match. team batting first will bat the third. second batting team will bat the fourth innings. So here is the 1 2 3 4 innings

thanks for clarification. these cricket statistics are really confusing sometimes....too many type of statistics

How many of you know that Sehwag has just 1 century in the 2nd innings? If 2nd innings centuries is a measure of match winning abilities, Sehwag will not be a match winner at all!

Yup! You are right, Another who say Sachin doesn't play big innings, if not Sachin than neither rest all. Mind it Sachin is in lead in playing 150 innings! Who says Punter is better than Sachin now see he has scored most of his runs and 100's at home soul.

Good to see all this statistcals but the real question is will India able to stand No-1 in test cricket as long as aussies did & also consitentcy in the game
