He is a good player no doubt about that. However, his double century doesn't carry any weight as he gave at least 5 catches (3 dollys) along the way. This sort of fortune happens only once or twice a life!

If karthik is said o be selected for his effort in Duleep then why Yusuf Pathan was not included for his spectacular performance in Duleep?Actually Karthik was selected as he hails from TN and not for Duleep effort.

karthik scored well in both of the innings.But these guy scored that runs after many dropped catches.
