when you have included a new player immediately try , good speed is needed to get wickets, ishant outdated, give him rest, either sreesanth or the new karnataka fast bowlder try nothing wrong, anyhow you batsman wont perform well then you are gone.

Yes absolutely right-For Instance the Nagpur Test
by mammen antony on Feb 10, 2010 11:21 AM  | Hide replies

Knowledge of the nature of the wicket, was only positive aspect of the Indian Team and they used to manipulate this aspect to the great extend to win domestic series. Then came the IPL seasons and flow of cricketers from foreign soils, and they used IPL to better their knowledge of different pitches of the subcontinent, richness and weakness of each players, and acclimatising to the weather conditions. And henceforth please do not expect our players to win any Test/One day series unless the opposition team is of a Kenyan, Bangladeshi, or UAE

adam gilkrist defeated rahul dravid led team india in nagpur in 2006 tour when saurabh got ill when he saw some grass on the pitch so indians are afraid of pitch that is poor show i wonder what coach and consultants do when team is in crisis. or south african coach is loyal to his old colleges smith, amla kalis & leaked secreats of all indians like greig chappel did in 2007 to rahul dravid so dhoni has to be alert and get maximum work from his available team mates by fielding as australian wicket keeper jumped to gully to get a chatch of pakistan opener in boxing day test. eknath solkar was indian who won matches by taking cathces & indians youngster drop catches to boost moral of visitors? or bookies

Consistency is the real problem
by MILIND KULKARNI on Feb 10, 2010 11:16 AM  | Hide replies

I cannot understand why our spin bowlers bench strength. When Azhar was the captain , Kumble , Raju and Arshad ayub used to topple any opposition including australia. Now we have nothing.Harbhajan is outdated and we have no quality spinner. Another thing that amuses me that whenever SA or AUS tours India, why are we playin in nagpur or kolkata, why not in delhi or chennai where the pitches are conducive to our home team.

by Chance No.1 should be No.10
by Virender Bhardwaj on Feb 10, 2010 10:35 AM  | Hide replies

said earlier that Indian team is No.1 in test only chance because SA/Aus teams did not perform well and Indian team get benefit of that only. Specially blowing and fielding of Indian team is like a third class team. I did not think Indian team deserve that rank of No.1

i agree with u. ours is no.1 but its gods mercy upon us or else we are not at all fit to be no.1 when compare to aussies and sauth africans. remember the vulnerability of our bowlers during bangla tour , tameem and all blasted our bowlers like anything.fielding is worst than anyother team . i think our team is more worried about records than performance.
may god help us.

In real terms India is strong enough to be No.3 behind Australia and South Africa...

yusuf pathan and wasim jafar are at the best of their batting and fielding performance but stupid selectors will give them a chance when they get 35 year old & loose form
