yes its simply politics. pujara scored 3 triple centuries. but he is not selected. n ppl like rohit gets selected umpteen times inspite of failures.

laxman is also in the form. if u want to remove him from team then go for sachin first. but onething is true they both are our proud.dont underestimate people through their age. it is test match.

thackreys' always focus on showing their FAKE DESHBHAKTI in order to get public attention. they are using cricket for raising up their noise bcoz they know that in INDIA cricket is the best medium to get public attention.
in february, pakistan and australian hockey teams are coming to India for the HOCKEY WORLD CUP. but thackreys have no issue with the australian and pakistani hockey players they know that if they make any protest against hockey players they will not get as much attention as they can get thru CRICKET.

i think manish pandey should b included as a replacement for laxman. pandey has scored 43 runs in the practice match against south africa. the best thing about pandey is that he was very comfortable against short pitch bowling. 1 more thing, he has scored 43 runs with a strike rate of more than 100. it is very difficult to score quick runs against south africa.
It really amazing to see giving chances to Rohit sharma, instead of other up-comming players like Pujara, Jaffer, Abhishek, Pandey, Robit Uthappa. His ODI records shows like 41 matches,38 Innings, 695 Runs

Robin is a ODI player, currently complitely out of form.
Jaffer is an opener and there is no place in that slot.
Pandey needs to prove himself in couple of Ranji Seasons. Also he is fit only for ODI & T20.
Abhishek Nayar is a good player for all forms of cricket. Bur Rohit Sharma is technically more correct. So he deserves it first. Also, he was selected in the past but is yet to make his debut in Tests.

thats what he is trying to say. Inpite of so many chances, Rohit has not done any thing of note in ODIs. So we cannot expect much from him in tests.
Rohit is the only fit replacement for Laxman as he is the one who can take the mantle of hope from Laxman. The chance to play test match is to ensure he is taken for one dayer aswell. He is the player who can match Yuvraj in one dayer and Laxman in test matches. HE IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE MOST CHERISHED AND FEARED PLAYER BY THE CRICKETING WORLD.

where did jaffer come from. he is an opener and cannot be selected to replace a middle order batsman! or if u say he be selected to open then its never going to happen cuz sewag and gambhir are doing a great job.
The idea behind selection is not only about how well they have performed , but it also boils down to where they bat. Badrinath was chosen for dravid as he bats mostly at no.3 or 4 for tamilnadu. i think rohit sharma bats in the middle order for mumbai, so yeah.

pandy is immature temperamentless, sloppy batsman otherwise he would have won RANJI for Karnataka. Test match is different ballgame. Manish is probably fit for one-day or 20-20
