He is getting chances only Dhoni was injured.The same thing will be happend to saha also.Better we can keep karthik as a middle order batsman instead of yuvraj and give him more chances.It's a pity that many of the star players are not performing well is in the team always.But this guy fails in one or two matches,he will be thrown out.what a logic it is?shame on indian cricket selection board.come on karthik.
why are we not selecting sivaji rao apte?? what a marathi manush he is...such a nice person by heart..i am sure he will hit atleast 2 double 100s if selcted..Jai Maharashtra!!

Reminds me of Gopal Rao Ganpat Rao Apte.. (remember?? Hera Pheri?)
Useless rohit sharma was included, saha (havent heard) was included, but the one who hit back to back to centuries was overlooked. Sad for him. Rohit scored only 20 in the board game, then why is he there in the team?

Karthik was given enough chances at national level. He dint grab it.He should prove himself more to get back on team. A.Nayar and Virat Kohli deserves chance.

Srikant felt that there is no point taking kartik in the indian team for the 1st test since Dohni will be playing. If Kartik was taken he would be warming the bench as weel as he cannot play in Duleep trophy final. So this was an ploy to take saha and allow Kartik to play in Duleep Trpohy final.

Karthik dropped a catch and also "played an irresponsible shot" against Bangladesh. So he was sacked and Saha was taken in.
Dropping catches, misfield, irresponsible shots can be allowed only when it comes from players like Bhajji, Yuvraj etc. Karthik doesnt fit into that category! :-|
Already ppl are talking abt Srikanth's influence ... The day this regional politics gets out of the team selection (in any sports in India) the sports will flourish!
The quota system has screwed all departments! We need representation from all the zones, no matter whether the representatives are playing well or not!
