So over the years, batting techniques, skills improved but bowlers didnt improve even when they tried. So is that an excuse for them to tamper with? How about allowing batsmen to place a spring-loaded launcher in the middle of the bat that gets a six every time? Bowlers need to stop whining and work on their techniques or come up with better.

Chronology of Tampering:

Rediff's own article quoted a number of cases of ball tampering; and guess what: English and Pakistani players topped the record. Why bother?

Need sporty pitches

make sporty pitches, especially in the subcontinent so that there is an even contest between bat and ball and players don't have to resort to such practices.

Cricket is really becoming boring these days with the advantage heavily inclined towards batters.

Also legalise one pitch catch if there is no wicket fall for the first 15 overs.
