Is a better batsman as compared to dhoni. the only thing is saving dhoni is the fact that there is no other candidate for captaincy and co-incidently in his captaincy, indian team has performed well. Though some day or other they had to combine as a unit and for the heavenly blessed Dhoni, it happened in his tenure. But for me Karthik is more gutsy,gritty and technically sound then Dhoni always. who can forget his batting under seaming conditions in SA when he was made opener and he saw thru the new ball better than other openers.i know a lot of guys will differ with my opinion here but i dont recall any of dhoni's innings which was crucial and specially outside subcontinent.

They booted KD Karthik for no rhyme or reason. He has yet again proved that he means business by scoring 183 & 150 in the Duleep Trophy Final. He took 3 catches too in the I Innings. Will the BCCI stop favouring non-entities and give place to those who really deserve it?

He is not counting his chances whenever he get into the team. that is the main drawback.

Vijay, if u include a player on axe everytime, how would he perform? the same thing happened with Kambli, which i knew had hell lot of potential and eventually india lost it.
