in fact ICC should have a new category of temporary test status which will be valid for only 2 years. and they must win at least 2 test matches in this period, which includes at least one against a full member. if they do not fulfill this requirement then their temp test status is forfeited.
if a team qualifies for temp test status for a consecutive 5 times, then only they should be made a full test member.
and at one time there should not be more than 2 temporary test members. test cricket is a time taking and very difficult game ... allowing lesser teams to play it just wastes other's time. since there is an obligation for each team to play each other team, having deadbeat teams as test members only drags all other teams.

one year would be too short as it takes time to convince other full members to play against them. for example india-bagla tests were not given importance by many.

Ofcourse BD have an ordinary cricket team, no matter the format. They rarely win against the other test playing countries. Why blame Sehwag for making a bold and correct statement?

Sehwag was wrong he cannot say Bangladesh ordinary cricket team..they are 3rd grade cricket team..ICC should sack them from Test Status till they prove themselves 10yrs are enough for a team to prove with modern day technology available in cricket.Give Ireland or Kenya a chance for next 5yrs to prove their worth.Just because of BD ICC is not adding any new member to test just because of BCCI's support BD got test status.

It is not only ordinary team it is team of mohalla cricket. sehawag was wrong in calling them ordinary. ICC should arrenge special coaching camp since they hv given them test status.or they shuld be called to play collage level cricket at kolkatta
