If the Shiv Sena has any respect and pride, it would openly say what it was planning to do to prevent the Aussies from playing in India. To that extent, it would atleast give the Aussies a chance to decide whether they want to come or not.
By being ambiguous and not letting their intentions be known, they are just creating a sense of fear not just among Aussies but also among fellow Indians.
It is better that the govt temporarily bans this party in that case, until the IPL is over, and then release the ban in the interest of public safety, Indian or otherwise.
It's the entire Thackeray clan who should be afraid- govt should take these hate-mongering morons and all their "top goons" into "protective custody" for the entirety of the games- for their own safety. Once that happens everyone will breathe a sigh of relief.

That would be an open invitation for trouble...! By giving importance to these goons, Govt wuld be signalling the fear for them!
Govt shld announce that if someone creates any problem, they will be shot. In spite of the warning if some Shiv Sainik is out to create trouble, then treat him as suicidal and shoot him down! One less moron in India!
Same shld be done for all the miscreants who destroy the national propery and name in the name of Bandh. Especially in places like Maharastra, Kerala, Andhra and West Bengal. Announce the warning upfront and shoot all those morons! Extreme step, but 60 years of advice and begging did not work. Take this and see India progressing......!!
