Does this Pak team deserve test status? Shoudn't this team be asked to play against associates and prove that they can compete against big players like India, SA and Oz?

We need wicket taking bowlers doesn't matter fast or slow. I'll take chukers like Murli and Malinga as well.
If you see his domestic avg..its below par (42 or something) But he always manages to score in big games...he has also shown that he is an asset for Mumbai indians..he knows how to handle pressure
Dont be surprised if he makes the cut before some of the other more fancied ones
His part time medium pace..should also help. He is know as partnership breaker. He averages 29 - pretty decent for someone who is a part timer !

I agree with you. He is always playing gritty innings and will be an ideal number 6 in the team. Atleast he shows appetite to fight it out. While scoring he is bothered with how many rather than how.

Guys relax... The team played with 15 players... Like many of u wanted to see pujaras,pandeys,sharmas as they are front-runners for Indian team. Mr.Dhawan was not intended to be played..Just that wickets fell cheaply, they made him bat....if others fared welll he wouldnt have got a chance.. Just think

this match will help South Africa to get match pracice So now a days many countries are playing club rate players in pracice match to prevent touring side from getting match practice
