Afridi:make it leagal to tamper with balls
by Bodh Ramdeo on Feb 03, 2010 09:36 PM  | Hide replies

Absolutely agree with Afridi- rules are a-changing.
And new rule #1: Anyone caught in the act of biting, sucking or licking balls, will have to consume said balls in its entirety, to the satisfaction of both the umpire and captain of the opposing team.

Afridi's next demand - allow knifes and pistols on the field
by Raghu Kenmpegede on Feb 03, 2010 12:45 PM  | Hide replies

A few days from now, the below can be expected - Afridi has said that we should allow knifes and pistols on the ground too. It is becoming difficult for Pak to win matches as very few teams are biting into the fixing business. He also feels that it will give bowlers/batsmen fair chance to challange a difficult situation. This way they can take out any body who threatens to take away the match. It also helps bring dicipline among players. As rules are changing PCB is considering to introduce this in coming pak aus series.

Spectators can bring in rifles too :)

LOL! Well said! Very funny, but true... it reflects the sad state of Pakistani cricket, and their professionalism (or lack of it).

Shameless

Shameless guy. This is not WWF. There are many bowlers who can bowl on any track on given day. If you cant bowl then why dont you retired and start selling peanuts on the street of your home town and above that wherever he goes he openly declares himself as an 'ambassador of islam'. A true muslim will not do this kind of antics.

Stupid arguement!

The rules allow for a replacing an old ball, if for any reason being out of shape, with one of equal wear and tear. Why should 'tampering' allowed?
