Mr. Gough, Just after one series win you should not draw the conclusion. England have beaten Australia who were completely washed by India as well. The supremacy will be known when the two teams come face to face.No doubt the english team has improved but the overall performance will be known when they face other strong teams like India and South Africa D.N.Gu[pta

Gough's comments

It looks like Gough has a big inflated ego. He is living in the future which is unknown and conveniently forgetting the present. Presently, the Indian team is no. 1 (SO WE SHOULD JUST ENJOY OUR STATUS AND KEEP PLAYING GOOD CRICKET) so whatever he is saying shouldn't affect Indian supports. We should not pay any mind to his egoistic comments. We need to ignore him and his comments.

Winning only against an opponent and is No 1 ?
by jacob george on Jan 07, 2011 04:21 PM

Mr Gough u r team has only won the Ashes against Australia ( which is on ly one among the mant test playing nations, and mind u tey are not at their best NOW) which doesent mean that u r the No1 . Do well against other countries and claim No 1 , now be satisfied with the ICC ratings, and one more thing Cook , who has been ur biggest run getter in the series, has only shone well now!
