Include Dravid in the list. He also started his career when he was 22. 6 years = 30 tests min. 30 tests = 1650 runs with Dravid average.
I think its time to close the debate... Tendulkar plays for record only despite his media posturing whilst Laxman plays to win for country.. Anyday Laxman is better bat than Sachin
