Definitely the best batsman, as one is called best when he plays the best against the best, and laxman has saved india and gave us victories against the tough teams like Aussies and SA.

Sachin Fans are Loosers!
by Rooney Mathews on Dec 30, 2010 12:52 PM  | Hide replies

1. No doubt he's a great player for 2 decades. but there is a little bit of difference with other players.
Sachin is hungry for runs, but players like VVS, Dhoni, Raina, Sehwag, Zack are hungry for WIN.
when sachin gets out on 99, see his face lol....like somebody has taken out his kidney.

See dhoni's attitude on field...personal score doesn't mean anything at all for him. whether he gets a 100
or 40 odd, doesn't matter, your score should contribute towards team's victory only!
Great match finisher for past 4-5 years. In similar situation, Sachin will throw away his wicket.

2. Indian media is sachin baised. only sachin, sachin.... when you will be "TEAM INDIA" baised lol?
Shame on you!

3. Why these idiots come up with stats of sachin from 2 decades ago, when some true criticism has been made lol?
PAST DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. CRICKET IS A TEAM GAME AND TEAMS ATTITUDE, SPIRIT & COMBINED EFFORT IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT
THAN INDIVIDUAL SCORES. we won 2nd test because of just that : A SUPREME COMBINED TEAM EFFORT!

CONTINUED.............

4. Time has now come for Sachin to retire! Look at greats like Shane Warne, Gilly, Mc Grath, Lara, Inzamam, Jayasuriya....
even our own VVS Laxman.......when they feel its the time, they retired from ODI/Tests! thus allowed fresh young talented players
to represent the country. But Sachin is different, he says "its passion for cricket" rofl...."its passion for money &
publicity"......he says he will continue till 2016 worldcup........what an idiot lol! at least have some shame!
Don't make your fans fool!

5. Shaun Pollock was spot on. Indians in SA were asked by Indian media before 1st test : "What they want to see?"
Public answered : "Sachin scores 100 & SA wins" : nobody wanted India to WIN there, what a shame!

as per shaun pollock, Sachin & his records will be kept in meuseum and public will see....lol....

SO SACHIN'S BLIND FANS....GO GET A LIFE, AND AS AN INDIAN, IF POSSIBLE, CHEER FOR "TEAM INDIA" FIRST.
BUT YOU IDIOTS SIMPLY CAN'T DO THAT BCUS YOU ALL ARE LIKE MNS WORKERS...WHO DOESN'T KNOW MEANING OF "NATIONALISIM"
ONLY SING "MI MARATHI" 24x7 ....LOLZ....INSECTS OF COMMUNALISM!

India has played two matches in
SA. Please compare the both.
In 1st match Sachin was highest scorer in both the innings and in 2nd match Laxman was the highest scorers in both innings. In first match the total India scored in both innings was about 600 runs and in 2nd match the total was about 430 runs. Yet India lost 1st match and won the 2nd match. Why ? What was different in 2nd match ? The difference was the bowlers. In 1st match they were niether able to
takes South African wickets not were able to contain them.
Hence India lost that match. But in second match bowlers came back strongly and shot them out for small score in both the innings.
Still there are people like regular Sachin bashers who will always critisize him . The problem is that these people do not understand cricket. In crickers there are batsmen who are suppose to score runs and bowlers are suppose to take wickets. Our bowlers failed in 1st match but succeded in 2nd match.
I just dont understand that even after Sachin doing what he is suppose to do like scoring runs he is being critsized.
Bunch of fools are these Sachin bashers.

Strange logic
a soldier taking on opponents even though others have already surrendered
is less brave than soldier whom others have lend a helping hand..

In first test it was Sachin abd Dhoni..

here comes another communist & statistician lol

unfortunately what you have written is few lines of stats again, your statements aren't based on facts!

1st match was lost due to lack of adjustment to foreign condition and may be Indians need to be pushed to the corner in order to show their real talent & aggression on the field'

No team will be no1 only depending on couple of individual performances.
blind sachin's fan, go stay in kitchen...that's the place you are supposed to be.

For discussing about cricketing facts, you need to have great source of knowledge, unfortunately your knowledge barrier is either limited or biased towards individual or corrupted like MNS workers lol

Or you putting the comments against Sachin as he his from Mumbai. I hope this corner will not there .So stick to cricket by that way I agree with you if its is neutrfal comment.

Well said. All that matters for us is India should win.Centuries and records will matter if it is the key in India's victory. Same case goes will bowling department as well.

How India can win the match if bowlers take four wickets in entire match. That is first test..
Then why blame who faught lonely battles ?

what is playing for himself vs playing for country
by ashoka on Dec 30, 2010 12:30 AM

I really don’t know how guys would know how somebody plays for himself or for country. This is a nice comment by explorer, which I would like to mention again.

Re: Re: Re: VVS is great, but others are also great
by explorer (View MyPage) on Dec 29, 2010 07:00 AM
No one is unusually selfish but they are all playing with Cricket as a profession. Like all of us, they too have different approaches to make sure of their logeivity in cricket.
Talking about "Playing for Country", "Playing Selfless" are very annoying to hear when the whole world is searching for Philonthrapists.
Let us learn appreciating the performances instead of analyzing on intentions behind the performances.

To add this, I would say if somebody wants to play for himself, is there anyway he can score less sometime (b’cos he required less for himself that day) and more another day (b’cos he is in urgent need). Rather I would like all players to play for himself first so that they achieve maximum success. Actually I don’t know how do people know “playing for country”. Yes, I know sometimes there is important need for the team to win, but even in that case it is always required to score “more runs” or “more wickets”. So this argument is useless.

Plz come out of this hindi movie mentality
by ashoka on Dec 30, 2010 12:12 AM  | Hide replies

Dear sachin-haters,
We all highly appreciate laxman this time and we need not show it by writing. But frankly what happened to his scores in last innings? Rather sachin who scored more last time than laxman’s score this time was useless b’cos of the absence of zaheer. But again I would say here it’s a difference in team effort. So we felt sorry that india lose last time, but frankly anybody with IQ 25 could know that it’s b’cos of team effort and not individual score. Rather all players expressed that when sachin is around they felt very encouraged all the time.
Please come out of this hindi movie mentality when one hero supposed to fight with 100s of villains to resuce one girl. It is always TEAM. And if nobody understands this stuff, it’s highly problematic to team india and contributions from persons like you for India’s strength.

dear frinend,
nobody is there like as "sachin haters". he was great player.now he is a average player only(cause of his aproach of game).and his attitude has changed. now he is playing for records only.check his last 200 in test (after getting 200 also he was dragging...whenever he become out...india got an edge and won the match. Can u show any situation..that he become a match winner(u can show only one occassion in sharja .that was a great series.but the condition was the cricket board was decleared prize money for every sixes..so the man was inform..)
whenever ther is some prize money or record..sachin will be in form...(he can change his aproach) else he will be a burden to indian team...
in india u can see sehwag, dravid and laxman r playing for india...only sachin, dhoni r playing for themself..that is the difference.
