There is nothin wrong in what sreesanth did....dale steyn who has such a huge edge over any other current fast bowler has also been doing it.tsosobe has also been into the act n we have all seen it.These things always do happen when the top 2 test teams clash. It should be a gr8 set up if India were to win this match and the 3rd test match becomes the decider. It will be apt that the tp 2 teams compete for the actual urn.May the best side win!!!!

Abhijit did not ask abt Laxman.Abhijit's question, most probably is, after he has read the article. If you know the answer, help the poster with the relevant snippet.

I think the umpires are strongly in favour of India anyway... :) Zak will definitely vouch for that fact given that he was plumb early on in his rather unusually prolonged innings... :)
Re: Re: its
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 10:41 AM
Unsually prolonged? rewind a while back, on 2008, Zak batted for 190 minutes against the Aussies and scored an unbeaten 57. Giving him company was Bhajji who scored 54.
Re: Re: Re: Re: its
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 11:04 AM
why? bcoz he is not a "batsman" per se. His role is supposed to be a bowler and that he demonstrated by helping to bowl out SA in this test match for the lowest score so far in this series.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: its
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 11:25 AM
You are most welcome. Again...there is no update or new information. As thats stated in the thread are facts and are known to cricket fans.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: its
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 11:20 AM
Why me? the whole cricketing world agrees and acknowledges that Zak is a bowler and that too good at it. His batting skills are limited but its nor prolonged and he has demonstarted the ability aginst the so-called world class teams who were supposed to finish off the tail. As and when its needed. And thats expected.
I didnt agree that it wasnt an unsual and prolonged innings from him. As a bowler, any runs that you get from him is a bonus. Yes, he has contributed this time. Also, he has done it before but not so long back that I would call it "prolonged"

;-)... when the Australian public reacted strongly to the Aussie team behaviour after the Sydney 2008 test, you no doubt felt that they were slaves? ;-)

Australian public reacted? I dont think so? Cricket Australia reacted..yes.

Oh yeah..? and you are the Aussie public pulse? Regarding accepting ignorance, please be careful - you already have that in abundance.

If you read the Aussie media, and failed to read the public outcry mentioned therein, I can only congratulate you on the art of missing the very obvious... :)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Now we can see indian slave mentality at work
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 11:38 AM
Well...reading some posting in some media does not make you understand the public pulse. You think that anyone who goes these forums and see yor replies and assumes that you are a cricket expert. I dont think so?
If Aussie public is against bad behavior they should hav demanded a strong apology from Aussie team that time in Sydney and yesterday when Ricksy showed the audacity to confront the umpires.

I do make it a point to read Rediff and also aussie media on smh dot com dot au.. Which you clearly have no inclination doing before rather glibly talking about ignorance on this forum... :)

Aussie media..I agree. But didnt you talk about Aussie public? I was curios to know about the Aussie public? so one of your reading material justifies that you know about Aussie public. and u think reading Rediff makes you an expert in Indian cricket lover public?

These tactics are decades old now in this game. I believe it is done all over the world in every professional match played. The point is Harris is making such comments only to improve his visibility in India. Who knows he may have a chance to reap Indian dollars someday in IPL like conversial aussies did.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Now we can see indian slave mentality at work
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 10:19 AM
Improve his visibility? why? bcoz its overcast conditions?

As expected..in the corner and a post just for the heck of it. Dude..read it.your post does not make any sense.
do you have a point? then say it..rather than try to camouflage it with smileys and expecting people to ignore
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Now we can see indian slave mentality at work
by Against Pseudos on Dec 29, 2010 10:26 AM
Dinesh K:
Absolutely... :)
He needs to at least see where he is pitching the ball... If he hurls the ball at the leg umpire accidentally, then the poor guy can get out of the way if Sree was visible in the first place... :)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Now we can see indian slave mentality at work
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 11:34 AM
O yeah..so you ran out of points that you had to dig out my comment from another thread ? pathetic? and that too wat was written in a diff context?
Okay..I will clear that. Sreesanth crossed the line = Sreesanth bowled a no ball
Wrong. Its a no ball only if Sree crossed the bowling crease, not any line. My question in the other thread..Read it.
Sreesanth to improve his visibility in South Africa = Weather is overcast in South Africa...
Yes..I didnt understand improvin Sree's visibility that you mentioned? As usual..no answer..
Im no body to grant you privilege to post just for the heck of it. Its upto you to decide to post (listen carefully) ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY. Not just bcoz you want to post to every thread and demonstrate that you are the last word in cricket.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Now we can see indian slave mentality at work
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 10:35 AM
Well..hiding the Reply button ofcourse makes one the last statement.
Its the overcast condition thats to be blamed.Bcoz when there is none as Sree toured SA last time, the ball pitched where it has to and he got 6 wickets.
Regarding bowling at leg umpire, if he cannot see the bowler, its high time he stop officiating or use the light meter

Exactly...opinionated man. That is the point.
Well..he got the sarcasm actually. But somehow he wanted to show the pseudo cricket expertism. now hes in a hole - position not to accept it and cannot move forward either.

Well..if we had the privilege of suggesting something. Then may be I dont mind a visit to school. But I strongly feel u crawling all the way to mama womb. You badly need a fresh start - they got it all wrong with ya
Re: Re: Re: Re: Sree crossed line?
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 09:40 AM
Did I say that the ball that Sree dismissed Smith was the same one in which he crossed the line?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sree crossed line?
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 10:30 AM
the article however did mention abt crossing the line. And that was my question.which line they were talking abt.If its blwong crease, then its no-ball.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sree crossed line?
by Dinesh K on Dec 29, 2010 10:16 AM
Yes, I didnt say that. Bcoz thats not mentionted in the article. Its only abt crossing the line.
