shut up vague sachin criticizer's
by jaydeep gupte on Dec 28, 2010 10:11 AM

Short term memories disease for sachin crictic's
Sachin last 3 years from 2008 -2010 has been in one of the most sumpreme form as he as been playing in crucial innings
for india where his game was important part for the contribution to indian win.
so just shut up vague sachin critics..

I mean a person( sachin) who was man of the series for australia's india tour 2010
who played second best after laxman in sri lanka test series.
same year had record 200 vs S.A. in early 2010 and played well in Test around same period.
Then how can you go on humiliating sachin without any base and logic.

sachins record 2008-2010
Year      Matches      Innings   &nbs p;  Not Out      Runs      Average      Bes t      50's      100's

2008       13       25       3       1063       48.32       154 *       3       4
2009       6       9       1       541       67.63       160       3       2
2010       14       23       3       1562       78.10       214       5       7

Poor Indian Pace Attack
by sasmgmt sasmgmt on Dec 28, 2010 09:41 AM

It was inded a poor show bu Ishant & Shreeshant. They cold just take a wicket each & that was bad performance on this pitch. Even in Joeberg Ishant did not get any wicket on his own both the wickets he got were given by batsman. Both of them cant move the ball. Ishant pls take a break.

Sreeshant,Ishant - Time to learn
by ccfan227@rediffmail.com on Dec 28, 2010 09:04 AM

Its high time Sreeshant,Ishant should cultivate the habit of looking at their wicket taking deliveries and try practicing those line and length. If you look at their bowling most of their deliveries were not good length deliveries. Most of them are over pitched, short etc. Look at Steyn, he always bowls in the good length areas and swings the ball from the centre of good lenth space on the pitch

This is sheer absurdity to comment tht only Maratha players should be included. We respect Sachin and other Maratha Players who has played well but don't agree with some fools commenting like this. Even some Marathi players also were involved in money scam.

Zaheer around
by ccfan227@rediffmail.com on Dec 28, 2010 08:48 AM  | Hide replies

Guys, I have been conveying since a long time on discussion boards that whenever Zaheer is in the dressing room/playing none of the co-pace bowlers will perform well. Not sure whats happening to co-pace bowlers when he is around. But its proven. Lot of good pace bowlers career went into trash because of his presence in the dressing room/playing. For example. Look at the recent NZ series, Sreeshant,Ishant performed well because Zaheer was not in dressing room. Looking at history, irfan, balaji, nehra, praveen etc suffered/did not perform well when he is around. Now sreeshant, ishant is taking the suffering. I think Zaheer is playing games with the talented co-pace bowlers inorder to save his place in the team and to get most number of wickets share. Just look at history and you will agree with me that any bowler who performs lot better than zaheer will get destroyed when zaheer is around with them.

Dravid should bat at #6
by India on Dec 28, 2010 07:24 AM  | Hide replies

Pujara should bat at #3 in next test. Pitch not good for scoring many runs. Match still wide open. Very mediocre bowling from Sree and Ishanth with so many no balls and gifted runs on this kind of pitch. Even newcomer Tsotsobe bolwed better for South Africa. if not for Zaheer and Bhajji, India would have been in deeper trouble.

Why not move Sachin to no. 6 and bring Pujara to no. 4??? "God" can play anywhere and score. Anyway he scores only when the pitch is flat.

mr benny, if you are an "intelligent" cricket follower, check which Indians score in tough batting conditions. I do not have to cite examples, as you claim not to be a dumb head!
easy to be judgemental about others....!

He is the greatest sportsman ever in terms of technique, temperament and diligence. But certainly not in terms of winning matches for India.

talk beyond statistics...if he stays not out (as in last game by not farming the strike), his ave is bound to go up. A 51 of SR Waugh is better than a 57 of SRT because of the context in which the runs were scored.
