Unfortunately ICC code of conduct applies to only the Indian sub-continent and WI players. Ponting will once again get away with this ugly incident and many more to follow as Aus desperately try to prevent the inevitable home Ashes loss. I remember Brian Lara being fined for requesting the umpire to refer to TV replay when he was given out stumped in an ODI match in Goa. The umpire did not refer and Lara had to leave. TV replays clearly showed that he was home and not stumped! ICC did not even take into consideration the fact that Lara has always been the walker and there have been a few instances where the umpire has said n.o. and the great champion sportsman has walked. (Can't expect this even from Indian greats). It's time ICC codes are applied indiscriminately across countries.
