It is called round arm bowling and it is rare but legal in Cricket btw.
Fools are great in numbers, vote for a few Crooks to enjoy....Its perfectly applicable to caste-religion based politics....and politicians, cricketers etc. making Crore, who is responsible for 125 Crore burnt in air...3 days back
Sreeshant is the weakest link in Indian bowling currently. He comes in the category of Ajit Agarakar who can bowl at a normal speed without much success. If you want to have top team, the team cannot afford to have such players. Maybe a better spinner could have been tried instead of him.

may be he is Appam C or Sree the actor cum cricketer, but he is not material for 1st class test team. This man needs to be rested for ever.

Test & ODI Rankings are "Fixed" to Promote "Brands" and sell to Idiot Indians, who call Greedy Cricketers their GOD....Recall Jannat Dialogue..."Cricketers fan ke bhagwaan hai....par insaan hi hai..."
I have only one question : Why do you need to play a series against S Africa with the World Cup arouind the corner. The Indians had their tails up against New Zealand with kind of victory they had against them on our soil. They should have been peaking from then onwards, instead this series against S Africa just prioe to thw world cup could dent their confidence very badly. Why are these players treated like Demi Gods, what makes them so great that they earn in crores......questions that cannot be answered !!!

The same thing happened during the 92-93 benson hedges wc in australia, where India had no clue about the other team players during the world cup and fumbled the entire world cup with just one consolation victory.
It is better to know the weakness well before, and prepare for the WC.

You are wrong regarding this tour of S Africa. This tour will make the Indians be not over confident. Otherwise the Indians will face the same fate which the Australians faced in the 1992 world cup held in Australia. As long as people are crazy about cricket the Demi Gods will earn in crores.

You are right Asha,DemiGods are created by the dumb population. Hence why blame the players!

The problem, however would be of change in wickets.
They have real good wickets for bowling, giving fast bowlers pace and swing! Batsmen get almost all deliveries near waist height to knee height (unless a good length or yorker). Easier to generate bouncers.
When we come to Indian wickets, they are flat. No help for Pace. Ball wont bounce much and will keep low after a few overs.
Even the change in outfields will cause problems.
So what's happening is, SA is evaluating us at their home grounds and make strategy. Then they come to sub-continent and practice, play practice matches here to acclimatize, when our players will obviously be resting. And beat our **s up in matches.

Everyone who knows cricket has got the knowledge that Indians are weak in fast swinging pitches. That is not a new thing to make any strategy out of it. Indians tigers will play good cricket in the flat dry pitches of India as long as they are not over confident. The Key is to pass through tough situation ( like this SA tour) so that both the Indian players and spectators will not be over confident.
