Hmmm, you do have a valid point Sudhir. Dhoni is getting to be a bore, always believing that tosses win matches and not good bowling or good batting or good fielding or even great determination from his teammates.

Sachin did not take the strike on the 5th day, because according
by Sameer Bhagwat on Dec 26, 2010 10:16 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin did not take the strike on the 5th day, because according to astronomers the figure he was on i.e 111 runs was a position of "Brahman Fistula" meaning that the cosmic planets were in a special arrangement when this personal score was 111 so he did not want to move the score from 111 and asked his chmachas like Sreesanth to not bother to give him the strike.

Also think about it 111 on 50th ton will add some face value which the selfish brahminical media can use to glorify the boring , bokish record holder Sachin who played more number of matches than anybody else as a result of being a Brahmin , and the selectors do not have the balls to go against a Brahmin in India.

Dhoni is partly correct
by vikadakavi on Dec 26, 2010 09:35 AM

when he says that toss will be important or crucial.

The other things which he has left unsaid are that it will be crucial and important for his team to bat well, bowl well and field well after either winning or losing the toss.

Wishing merry christmas, boxing day and new year to the team.

you are forgetting that Dhoni mended himself atleast in the second innings by playing a very crucial and important innings of 90 runs actually in the process helping the other guy to achieve a hundred which is more hyped about by the media.

Without knowing how to dance, he made the more crucial innings of 90 than the other hundred spoken so much about in the media.
