that too a boring one, he is an average boring player who got to play more matches than anybody else at the international level inspite if his olgd age against weak oppositions , because he is a Brahmin the ruling political class of India, the selectors cannot dare to drop him because of that fact or else the ruling Brahmin political class and the media would be after their head.
For a commentator to survive like Wasim and co , they have to make Sachin and Gavaskar their gods and praise them at every moment while on TV as Ravi Shastri has been doing up until now.

Yes,because he knows that indian public like it and he can keep his job. Say anything good of India,Indians than it is headlines. Actually Gavaskar has hardly played against Wasim Akram ..Once I remember on Tv discussion Gavaskar said Akram is the best when Mcgrath was a known best bowler.Michael Holding had to intervene and inform him that probably he has not seen Mcgrath and he is still obssesed with Akram. Also he would think Pakistan is the best team even when Australia was no.1 by a long time.It took Gavaskar years to realize it.This is the seize mentality he hasagainst any Pakistan player.
