A CLOWN

KIRSTEN YOU TRY TO COACH AND WIN MATCHES FOR INDIA INSTEAD OF CEMENTING YOUR PLACE AS THE INDIAN COACH. BY PRAISING TENDULKAR YOU ARE MAKING YOURSELF A FOOL. TENDULKAR IS PLAYING LIKE A CLOWN FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS AND THE ONLY THING HE DOES IS CREATING RECORDS WHICH ARE OF NO USE TO INDIA. HE DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO PLAYERS LIKE VIV RICHARDS.

Your view shows who is the clown. Kirsten is not working to cement his place. He is ready to sign off after the world cup and it is our team and board keen on retaining him. How can you say Tendulkar is playing like a clown? Do you know cricket and have read some statistics? It is so pathetic to hear such comments from persons who do not know what is cricket.

Curse of Indian cricket
by Sameer Joshi on Dec 21, 2010 06:18 AM  | Hide replies

I think Tendulkar is a curse to indian cricket, because whenever he scores India lose the match. He truely lacks leadership skills, he can only score whenever there is no pressure on him and he can't inspire other player to play good, ust plays for his own record and is clone of Gavaskar.

if you dont understand cricket and looks from your comment that you probably haven't played cricket at any level of competency... you shouldn't be making such remarks...

seeing your remarks, i remember this saying... its better to keep your mouth shut (in this case your remarks on this blog) and claim ignorance, than to open it and prove that you are an idiot to the whole world...

god save you !!!!!

Tendulkar is like a wicket-keeper. Nobody remembers a great catch or save. But everyone remembers the odd fumble. Similarly, all of Tendulkar's great innings that brought success to the country go unnoticed due to the failure of the team when he was the sole batsman performing.

It is a pity that people abuse Tendulkar for Team India's failure. Cricket is a team game, indivitual can shine in a winning match. But ultimately it is the collective effort...

It is ridiculous to say Tendulkar doesn't shine in a pressure game... Yesterday we had pressure not to lose. He played, but no one gave him a good stand.
It shows the rest of the team fail to sustain the momentum when Sachin makes a big run, not curse...
In any game, no team can keep on winning the match. The truth is, very few people can play in SA, AUs kind of pitches. We must accept it and equip ourselves rather humiliating great cricketers like Sachin or Dravid.

We can criticize players if they fail to perform, not when they shine and still we lose the game.

Criticizm is important for a player to realize his form. So please keep criticizing, but sensibly.........

you are right . As records cleanly show it

50 test 100's , out of which only 20 resulted in win , 19 resulted in draw and a huge 11 resulted in loss.

You are absolutely right.

He scores century even when the pitch will support bowling. and rest of the batsman fails miserably on those surface..and thats the reason for the failure

On a flat track India winds and every boday can score runs there and even harbajan can be a match winner with his batting skill in those situation.

Did you see how he played in the first innings against SA ..all the batsman was struggling. but he was playing fluently untill he got out lbw on a unplayable delivery.

Don't go behind stat..just watch how he plays. if you don't understand cricket don't make such nasty comment on a talented guy who devoted life for cricket and entertain millions of cricket fan across the world..

Why sachin gave strike to tail-enders?
by super hero on Dec 21, 2010 03:37 AM

Note: This is not for Sachin haters. No logic can staisy them. But if you are a non-partial guy wondering y sachin did that..here we go

Whats the only possible way India could have saved the match? By scoring atleast 150 runs on fifth day and hoping for rain.
That is possible only with something like laxman-ishant partnership. 50 from sreesanth or unadkat and 100-120 more from sachin. He gave them strike, if they score a 50 India have a chance if not no chance. As simple as that. Its humanly not possible to score 150 himself, and manufacturing a single on every 5,6th ball.

This is Why Sachin is more than Team India
by super hero on Dec 21, 2010 02:59 AM  | Hide replies

Ask a random passer by, what would you ideally want from Team India?
A non fanatic might say World cup .
A fanatic might say No1 Test status and world cup.
A girl newbie fanatic might say T20 world cup.

And if you ask them why?
Answer: It will make Indians proud. A non-fanatic might not even know
for how many years we have a world cup.All they know is its a big cup
and it will make us proud.

Why are these important anyways? We gave a world cup champion for
every 4 years. T20 chapmions for every 2 years. Constant doubts over
our No1 status and might not hold onto it for more than 2 years.

20 years down the lane, whats so great about winning 2 world cups
(1983,2011) out of 10 world cups so far and almost most of the countries
will have the similar record.Whats so great about winning 2011 world cup?
Indian are champions from 2011-2015. And that too if we loose 5-2 to Aus or
SA, we cant even call them champions for 4 years.

Re: This is Why Sachin is more than Team India
by super hero on Dec 21, 2010 02:59 AM
Notable achievements that come to my mind till now
1983 world cup, Titan cup,Hero cup, 96 SF,Sharjah cup,
Natwest trophy, 2003 Finals,T20 World cup,CB Series,No1 Test status.
Except for No1 status, most countries have similar achievements.
But then we have 'SACHIN'.The best bastman ever(Only Bradman can contest).
Most of his records will stay alive forever(If you are cricket fanatic,
then u will know that most of them are impossible to break).A poll in
australia twice this decade said Sachin is the current best player.Ponting
was no-where near in those polls. Current and ex-crickets, commenattors,
coaches, umpires and everyone alround the world praise him as the best.
That makes me an Indian proud. He is like Dhanychand of Cricket.
He is like a Schumacher ,a Pele, a federer, a Tiger woods.
50 years from now, Indian cricket might become like our Hockey.
Usa, Canada,Ireland,Afghanisthan might be top 4 teams.Your Grand children
might not follow cricket, but they sure will be surprised and happy to hear
that the best player, holder or most runs, centuries is an INDIAN.
He is a phenomenon that happens once in a life time.
I cherish a century from Sachin more than an Indian victory.
This is the reason why.

I am sick & tired of advertisement media projecting "cricket religion & Sachin god".

The mania seems to generate money for cricketers, media, betting industry & all other match fixers.

It generates hatred in fans & causes emotional turbulance.

Sports is to create harmony. It looks like it does create more harm than harmony.
