Good decision but too late. I don't think Wright now would have enough time to boost up confidence of player and prepare them physically and mentally for sub-continental conditions. First challenge for him is to get right players. As of now Kiwis are lacking in almost all aspects of the game.

John Wright will make a damn good coach. He is cool, calm and decent in his dealings and will surely get the best out of NZ players. Greatbatch was a bit too abrasive and bossy which did not go down well with the Kiwi players..
Dan Vettori and Wright will make a good combo and here is hoping that they would turn things around. Kiwis are the nicest bunch of players around and it would do the game good if they start winning again.
NZ PLAYERS ARE BEST IN WORLD BUT AS A TEAM THEY LACK A CAPTAIN WHO CAN MAKE GOOD UTILISED OF THIS PLAYERS. I THINK THEY NEED INTELLIGENT CAPTAIN THAT'S ALL.
