I mean, people has lost their logical thinking, they dont plan, they can not analyse anything. they just like to say something and criticism scores more than apreciation,,so thats it..
Did it help the team win or save the game? - NO (only rain can save the game)
Was there too much pressure? - NO (India was out of it when Sachin came it to bat so he was batting without much pressure)
Was Sachin the lone warrior - NOT AT ALL. Almost everyone played as well or better than Sachin. Gambhir 80, Sehwag 63, Dhoni 90.
Was the pitch challenging? - NO. Absolutely not. This is the same pitch where AB scored the century in 75 balls and AMLA and Kallis hammered our bowlers.
With all the above in mind, it is safe to assume, Sachin can play only on flat tracks, when there is no pressure and everyone in the team has contributed. King of good times.

There was nothing in the wicket. But the pressure of a big total is there eventhough i have to admit nobody in their wildest dreams hopes they can make it. But still it is a very good innings. And if we manage to save it, then it becomes a big contribution. Some like sehwag threw the chance away for superhero crap. Sachin and Dhoni took it.
In foreign conditions, under sharp pace attack Sachin has scored 143 and Dhoni has scored 123,these two are the highest scorer.
So,I suggest critics of these two players to understand why Sachin and Dhoni are exceptional players and without their performance,India would have suffered a humiliating defeat ...if Laxman,Sehwag,Raina,Gambhir and Dravid would have contributed even 150 more runs together, this match would have been evenly poised...

There is no sharp pace attack. That was only on day 1 on a damp wicket. Rest of the match has been batsmen's paradise. So dont create superhero BS.

SRT n Dhoni did their part, rest of the team didnt.. whose fault is it? y blaming SRT for reaching a personal milestone? u guys r pathetic.. can't recognize a single talent or achievement a person gets, and that is why India is still called a 3rd world country. pathetic, pathetic, pathetic.. is SRT supposed to win all matches for India? Cricket has 11 players in a team, its a team work. and SRT didnt take 400 balls to reach 100. Seriously, what is wrong with you retarted morons? :X

undakat and raina are total waste.... why the hell they selected to play against SA... they can experimented in BANG/ZIMB
The indian team deserves to lose. Hope they go ahead and lose the series probably by getting white washed. Its a pity to see Dravid, Laxman, Sachin still playing. Hope time has the final say when they ultimately retire and youngsters get chance.

The fact that dravid and laxman are prolonging their career by playing tests is a pity. There are enough youngsters waiting for a chance and raina is not the only youngster around.

I totally agree with you. India is not a country like New Zealand ,England, Australia( Ignorant posters note) where only few people follow cricket and on top people are tuned to other popular games as well. There are millions who play cricket. If they are given oppurtunities they will excell. India is not a country where just one player can play forever like Dravid, Tendulkar, etc etc. It is like allowing employees to work till 70 years just because they can still work. Senseless.

Hello ,Nobody is calling Warne. It is just media discussion. By the way if you are living in Mumbai or Kolkotta which has more than 25 million population , Australian polpulation is less than Mumbai. Actually very few people and even fewer follow cricket. Do not be under the impression that just because Australia were no.1 , that craze for cricket is like in India. Indian can only play cricket as they can become batsman and just roll wrists to score or do spin. or be in slips and make useless records .No one knows Tendulkar in Europe, USA etc.It is only in India( and friends Pakistan, Bangladesh ,SL) and some cricketing public. Cricket is not Universal game.public

sensly like u rajesh. Do u know the meaning of legend. We like lucky enough to be born in era when Great player like Sachin,Richard, Micheal Schumacher, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Roger Fedrer are playing..

Sachin, Dravis and Laxman must be kicked out. Infact no one must play more than 10 years in Indian team. It is equivalent to working till 60 or 65 years in a job. Others must be given chance. It is a style and tradition in this country with few oppurtunities to thing that a person is indispensible.
Even people want only Gandhi- Nehru. Feels no one else can rule. Once Rahul Gandhi is PM they will want to keep him for forty years just because people feel no one else is there. Tendulkar is not playing individual game like Tennis, Badminton.
Re: Re: Re: The team deserves to lose
by Rajesh Ratan on Dec 20, 2010 08:38 AM
Genius, Tennis is an individual game. There are no selectors involved in selecting players. You can play as an individual. Their is no harm if this Oldie Selfish Tendulkar plays for useless IPL.
Re: Re: The team deserves to lose

Then Y are still working you should be kicked out and Young people should be employed. As suggested by you please do a social service and resign.

hey bullshit, what youngster raina did in this match, dont u aware that. be active or dont comment on others achievement when u have achieved nothing
Re: Re: The team deserves to lose

You seem to be a stupid guy, a trait common to your community perhaps. Raina is not a test specialist and with more chances he will definitely show his class. I dont consider what sachin has done as an achievement. When a stupid like you can reply with some advice, there is nothing wrong is commenting as one feels.

more opportunities ? LOL thats why you were a born loser
Were sachin/ dravid / laxman / kumble pampered with opportunities ? They came up the hard way, which is why they are men and not small kids like raina/ yuvraj etc

Youngsters should definitely get a chance if they deserve. But should you throw out someone simply because he older even if he performs better that youngsters. Laxman has saved the team from brink of shameful defeat many a times.
Re: Re: The team deserves to lose
by Michael on Dec 20, 2010 07:44 AM
Dont forget its the indian team with only youngsters which has won the 5 odi series against the new zealand. What sachin can do any youngsters with enough chances can surely do. Sachin' style of playing is selfish. No wonder the team loses even if he manages to get to his century. The team should play as a unit and no individual is bigger than the team and this applies to sachin also.
Re: Re: Re: Re: The team deserves to lose
by Michael on Dec 20, 2010 07:55 AM
Maybe that explains sachin's 200 runs not out also, scored in the flat indian pitch as you may put it.

yes , maybe.. But remmeber it was scored against the best bowling team and #2 ranked ODI team
