Pommies

In sports Pommies are in the losing side in majority of cases.Whenever they win a match or two they(along with their press) will predict that are the future champions, only to be proven wrong subsequently. This has been going on for the last 30 years. It is not limited only to cricket, look at tennis, football and most of other sports.

Indian batting has depth and experience to face the conditions of the pitch. It depends on what mind set they are playing at the moment...we can expect couple of hundreds by indian batsmen today... if they cross the first two hours of the day... time to be saviour... lets see who steps to perform...

Stupid team haters. I can understanding someone disliking individual cricketers but to hate the whole nation shows our own insecurity.

India will most probably suffer an innings defeat in the test match today.

Congrats to the Aussie team and Ponting

You thoroughly deserve this win after taking a lot of flak post your loss at Adelaide.

You have the momentum to win the Ashes from here just when everybody wrote you off.

Aussie batting is going through a terrible time with no stability either with the openers or the top order (Ponting, Clarke). Once this falls into place, Aussies have the bowling Harris, Bollinger, Siddle, Johnson, Hilfenhaus to rule cricket for a long time.

Nothing Changed, other than the over confidence Eng...
I thought Aus still need to Improve a lot to show (or) even repeat the same win in Boxing day Test. Unless until the Batting order gives solid support it will still be diff for Aus to win back the Ashes.

Agree on that. Batting seems a big worry for Aussies. If Ponting or Clarke (one of them) can support Hussey/Watson, Aussies will be a strong team.
