WHY UNNECESSARILY IN THIS COLOUMN U PEOPLE ARE WRITING AGAINST SACHIN. EVERYTIME HE PLAYS FOR INDIA AND WHATEVER RECORDS HE IS DOING IS FOR INDIA AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL TELL INDIAN SACHIN TENDULKAR AND NOT ONLY SACHIN TENDULKAR. HE CANNOT PROVE ANY MORE TO ANY ONE OR AGAINST ANY TEAM. HE HAD DONE A LOT EACH TIME.
EVEN IN THE 1ST INNINGS ALSO THE TOP SCORER FOR INDIAN TEAM IS SACHIN.
ISHANT HAD BEEN SENT BECAUSE JUST 12 OVERS IS THERE SO THEY SENT A NIGHT WATCHMAN EVEN THESE BASIC THING NO ONE KNOWS AND TELLING THAT SACHIN IS HIDING IN THE DRESSING ROOM. WHAT SHAME THESE FELLOWS ARE? HOPE U ALL WILL REMEMBER THAT LAST YEAR THE SAME SACHIN HAD SMASHED AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA FOR A 200 NOT OUT WHICH U ALL REMEMBER.
ATLEAST AFTER THESE THEY SHOULD NOT WRITE RUBBISH THINGS.

srikanth, extreme, ajay, so you all agree that ishant is a better batsman than sachin and so had more chances to survive these end overs? srikanth you say ishant had been sent because just 12 overs were left? so sachin not being so good to last as long as 12 overs was held back? and ishant was a better bet to last these 12 overs?
BTW all of you who understand the concept of nightwatchman so well (the main reason being that sachin was being shielded) tell honestly if it was not sachin but some other batsmen and especially some new generation batsman or our dear captain dhoni would have said the same thing? would you have come to the defence of dhoni, or raina or yuvraj or some new batsman who could be in such a situation and was being shielded instead of sachin?
Remember SA had come to india at the start of this year? in the second test against them in kolkata at the end of second day? 5 indian wickets had fallen and in the dying moments of the second day mishra was sent as night watchman and how you people criticised and abused dhoni and made fun of him and said he is afraid to face SA bowlers? he came at the fall of mishra's wicket the next day and added 259 runs for the 7th wicket with laxman and reamined not out on 132 and helped india gain a first innings lead of 346 runs.
just because sachin is involved suddenly you understand all the nuances of cricket strategy and when other players are invovled you have a complete of lack of it.

surprising how you criticise and abuse other players for the same reasons that your fake god sachin is criticised for.
one set of rules for your favourite player fake god sachin and other set of rules for other players, right?

In 1996 against Pakistan in Sharjah, Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin was going through a lean patch. Tendulkar and Navjot Singh Sidhu both made centuries to set a record partnership for the second wicket. After getting out, Tendulkar found Azharuddin in two minds about whether he should bat. Tendulkar convinced Azharuddin to bat and Azharuddin subsequently unleashed 29 runs in mere 10 balls. It enabled India post a score in excess of 300 runs for the first time in an ODI. India went on to win that match.Tendulkar's rise continued when he was the leading run scorer at the 1996 Cricket World Cup, scoring two centuries.[50] He was the only Indian batsman to perform in the infamous semi-final against Sri Lanka. Tendulkar fell amid a batting collapse and the match referee awarded Sri Lanka the match after the crowd began rioting and set fire to the stadium.
This was the beginning of a period at the top of the batting world, culminating in the Australian tour of India in early 1998, with Tendulkar scoring three consecutive centuries. These were characterized by a premeditated plan to target Australian spinners Shane Warne and Gavin Robertson, to whom he regularly charged down the pitch to drive over the infield. This technique worked as India beat Australia. The test match success was followed by two scintillating knocks in Sharjah where he scored two consecutive centuries in a must-win game and then in finals against Australia tormenting Shane Warne once again.
