Shame on Shahrat Power for holding test even on Diwali day
by Moshadi Maino on Dec 26, 2010 10:14 AM

Did you notice how BCCI forced our players to play on Diwali day?

Do you see SA scheduling a test match on Xmas day or even Xmas eve. Are Eng and Aus playing a test match on Xmas day or even Xmas eve? And those are secular countries too. In fact, this callous disregard for our players' families is deliberate, to show "who is boss".

And, as usual, H1ndoos are taking it passively.

bowling for india
by sonny gong on Dec 21, 2010 07:50 AM

there are a lot of problems with the team selection

slow -pacers are not the answer for india
vrv singh should have been persisted...he has speed height and bowled really well last time around in sa.....if you had watched those matches you would have known how he had the batsmen tied down and hopping while sri took some wickets

it is not necessary for all bowlers to take wickets all the time

others who should have played and taken to sa are m patel and a nehra...

atleast take a young bowler who can bowl fast to give a scare.....and these selectors have all played cricket yet have no realization...think just cus they played cricket does not make them a better judge as a selector....we need selectors with some sense...........this is same old story again and again

bad bad on the selectors

It's good for Australia. I always believe in S.Waugh comment "Go with your best attack without thinking about pitch".

Last tour......
by Anurag Rathore on Dec 15, 2010 11:56 AM

In last SA tour Indian bowlers got success when they bowl at fuller length. I think they should follow it in this tour also. Short pitch bowling will not help Indian bowlers except Ishant.

I think RP Singh is a good choice for SA and U Yadav is not Bad IMO, but PK deserve a Test Break, may be in Eng or NZ

RP is also a good choice. But I don't know why selectors dropped A.Mithun after Srilanka tour?

A Mithun Avg is really High though he bowled in all Dead Pitches, He should be given few more chances but his speed is not up to the Mark, I think U Yadav can hit 140 Mark consistently and If he play in SA he might surprise all

I am saying it on the basis of following points:

1.India usually performs poor in 1st test of the series
2.Fitness of Zaheer and Sreesanth

We will see, India made history in SA only by Winning the 1st test in a Big overseas tour so I feel Centurion they feel like Home but not in Turban.

Yes. Fitness of Zak is a Issue

stupid idiot can bet on sehwag on this kind of a pitch....SA pitch...it's not his comfort area...staying on leg stump and throwing his bat at everything on offside will work only on subcontinent dead pitches....
go n play gully cricket to know abt batting and dravid's ability on these kind of pitches....silly comments....

All of your key players are real doubt, If Zak is fit only he can be a Key Player while I can discount Gauti and Sehwag, you never know

I have a feeling Dravid is going to make it, He is not going to be down and He will score well

I doubt on Dravid, Harbhajan and Raina performance. But yes any one of them can turn the match scenario at their own day.

First time India is going with 2 excellent openers in SA. So I think it will be key. If anyone of them clicks India will make 400 plus for sure. Zaheer always do well in SA and curremtly one of the best test bowler in the world.

I doubt H Singh and S Raina performance but Not Dravid, I think Dravid will make up all his last 3 year Failures during overseas tours.

I can feel M Morkel is going to Kill G Gambhir with His Bounce, I always Seen M Mokel taking out Left Hand openers like A Strauss and G Gayle. Let see My feeling will correct or not.

No deny in Zak Talent and Performance but if he doesn't have Match Fit then it's going to be a Big problem for India
