Why is he still playing when the opposition does not respect him? Does he have no self respect! Only past (and some present) cricketers looking for a quick IPL stint either as coach, commentator or player keeping praising this guy.

All the people who comment here on rediff, saying Bradman or ponting or richards or sehwag is the greatest player ever also have one thing in common.They also hate sachin. What a coincidence???? Or is it just the other way around. Whenever these people say others as greatest just click on their page and see their previous comments..they just hate sachin.. Not even one person I saw who say others are greatest and sachin is a good bastman. So its clear that they hate Sachin and so try to pick someone else as greatest and praise them.

Sehwag was kicked out of the team for an year..why? I dont think he changed his style of play before or after comeback..
The only difference is the team needs changed. When the middle order performed well( thats is when we make sure we dont loose test matches), we can afford sehwag and win some matches. If the middle order fails, sehwag was the first person to be dropped. For a team to win, Sachin and Sehwag are equally needed.Period. Chennais Test is the perfect example. Sehwag made a quick fire 80, that made win possible and the sachin with the middle order made the winning happen.
Consider in that match: 1)Sehwag fails and middle order performs: India would have drawn the match with 20% chance of winning. 2)Sehwag makes 80 but middle fails: India would have lost the match.
That is why Sachin is more important to team than Sehwag
