Akram is jealousof india's success
by Gurjot Singh on Dec 13, 2010 10:46 PM  | Hide replies

India's player pool is o deep that you can easily have to world cup teams composed of Indian talent pool. Pakistanis are just jealous. Whatever BCCI is doing is working. Just keep up the good work.

gurjot, try to read behind his remarks. He is trying to say good about our team so that he can stay more in india and earn some money.
anyways who wants to live in pakistan? nobody. even their own people are running. He is hoping that if he says good about india hopefully one day he would be able to stay in india with an indian wife since his wife is dead.

it is a proof that Indians have

always welcomed Akram.....

But pakis may be sweet in talking

but in real terms they would

continue to stab Indians at

slightest oppurtunity...

Paki TV is always spreading false

propoganda with sole aim of

creating hatred & venom against

Indians............

Pakis can never be trusted..

Wasim Akram sounds more matured than idiot Imran Khan. Fully agree that there was no need to schedule SA test series just before World Cup. India have already played 5 test matches this season in addition to many ODIs. This SA tour can prove really tiring & risk of injuries to key players like Sehwag, Gambhir, Sachin. Raina, Bhajji, Ishant & Zaheer. We need these players to fire in the WC.

Akram, the great
by mohan on Dec 13, 2010 07:37 AM

Wasim is a great player and good human being.

He has been helpful to young Indian bowlers and he is a good bridge between India and Pakistan.

Take his comment positively. India is playing too much cricket, better slow down on the number of games.

Its so sad to see Rediff's portal of Indo-Pak hatred, regardless of the article posted. EVen though Indians and Pakis are no different the second these frogs step out of their slums.

Go to any country and people wont know the difference. Wasting time fighting, abusing and criticizing greats.

India Pak are doomed for failure, thanks to democatic dkheads like these slumdogs at Rediff.

"India Pak are doomed for failure,"

Don't include India in your sorry thesis. Whole world knows who is doomed for failure. But, I can understand that it feels bad to say that only for Pakistan, so why not hyphenate oneself with India so as to feel somewhat more credible.

India has a good bench strength now and is rotating its players. India has not played as many tests as Australia this year. In ODIs they are giving chances to the likes of Parthiv, Ashwin, Yousuf, Vijay, Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, Munaf etc. It's good to give these players some international experience in ODIs and have some people on bench in case anyone gets injured.

On the otherhand, India is resting its experienced players like Sachin, Viru, Bhajji, Zak. The fact that Sachin did not play a single ODI after he scored that double century against SA itself is an evidence Indian cricket management is taking care of its players.

Indian cricket does not need unsolicited advice from Akram, may be Akram has some business interest with India.

Instead, Pak cricket that is infested with match fixing, spot fixing, ball tampering, pitch tampering, player absconding etc. needs Akram's services.

What is there to focus on failed statePornistan? It is riven by all kinds of shady dealings from ball tampering to match fixing to spot fixing to pitch tampering to of course their pet industry, terror hammering. They are a nation in muck that offers no scope for living like normal beings. A total mess, is what it is and the great Imran Khan himself admitted the same.

Don't mix cricket with politics.
Afterall Akrambhai is a great
cricketer and we must honor his
views. It is because of too much
cricket, our seniors are enjoying on S.A.beaches. It is
bad time for Pakistan cricket,
otherwise they were also a force
to reckonwith.

top contenders for cup
by lee on Dec 12, 2010 10:51 PM

India, southafrica, england and srilanka. atleast 3 out of these 4 teams should reach the semis. India though stronger, but they always get difficult times from srilanka.
