Agreed it is difficult, but impossible.Evern Murli, the spin legend, says that his 800 wickets will be broken in the coming years. Same way no one say anything about the future...records are meant to be broken..

He has to still play on to safe guard his records may be 10 more hundereds. The guys who are closing on to his record are Kallis and Ponting. The later is struggling and has a axe right over his head, but Kallis is closing on and never tiring. If these two guys dont break his record - no one else would ever.

Virat Kohli & Suresh Raina can also become Legends like Sachin in the near future if they play well & maintain consistency.
England will probably the dark horse and one of the best team in 2010 alongwith India, Sri Lanka & South Africa.They have a good side who can steal the world cup 2011 if they will able to play as per their potential. They should reach in Semi Final and have the ability to become among best two teams in the forthcoming world cup 2011.

There will be very good chance for India to win the World Cup for the second time after 1983. India has balance side both in batting & bowling arena,having lots of match winners, moreover they will play at their home ground & will get the support of spectators mostly. Only Sri Lanka & England can compete with India according to current situation in the world cricket.
All the people who comment here on rediff, saying Bradman or ponting or richards or sehwag is the greatest player ever also have one thing in common.They also hate sachin. What a coincidence???? Or is it just the other way around. Whenever these people say others as greatest just click on their page and see their previous comments..they just hate sachin.. Not eeven one person I saw who say others are greatest and sachin is a good bastman...
here is my sincere advice for the all Indian cricket fans. One should not put pressure on Tendulkar to play well in the World Cup, He knows the situation & he can play his natural game. One more thing, there some of them taught that if tendulkar hits century we ll loose the game., But what are the other 10 members doing in the grounds, it is a team effort.. all should give their best, other not done means it is not his fault. Please think about that cricket is the team effort, not by individuals... Don't put pressure on Tendulkar & give him the support to play his natural game.
Once upon a time the Australian Capitan said that i'll definately surpass the sachin's record in test cricket when he scored back to back centuries then now he is only in the axe..... he is finding hard to get place in the australian team, if once taken him from captiancy really there is less time to survive in the 11 members squad. In the current situation no one is able to play like tendulkar as long as 20 years. Just he is the god gift for the Indian Cricket team.
Hardly will you find any one in any sports who has played for more than 20 years and that too have achieved success every time. It is a shame that sport personalities from other countries know the value of Sachin and are paying tribute to what he has achieved, but look at people from our great country india who are criticizing him for what others can only dream of. If Sachin was in Bradman or V. Richards time he would have had many more records even then. Bradman and V. Richards’s records would have different if they had to play now. SACHIN IS GREAT!!!!
