The Kiwis were in full strength except for J/Ryder.It really defies all logic and difficult to fathom what went wrong for them but the Indians need to take the facile wins with caution and not get carried away. Add to this the pressure of expectations of home crowd from no.1 side. All it takes is just one loss in the knock out stage of WC to crash to earth after this high and it could come from this very NZ side !Unless the team management handles all these issues in a calculated and visionary manner, it could be heartbreaks during WC staged at home. Already there is pressure on Sachin to deliver and exit with a bang. Unless media behaves more responsibly by balanced coverage of portraying a united team effort rather than putting excessive pressure on individuals all this may end in a mega anti-climax. Further, it is time for the selectors to start playing the best 11/15 together instead of endless experimentations. The best 11 is there in front, only in the fifteen may be one or two or rather one change of free stroking P/Patel getting a late entry can be thought of. So, time for team India to get cracking for the WC.
people are crediting this odi series win to teamwork only because sachin was not there. if sachin was there and instead of aschin not playing, suppose gambhir or kohli or pathan or rohit were not there then automatically people would have called this series win as single handed win by sachin.
