Never ask Sr. Players their opinion. They always forget what was condition during their Captaincy or whey they were in team. Why Pointing is suffering because retirement of Hayden, Warne, McGraha, injries of Lee, termination of A Symonds etc etc he dont have any exprience member in team to recover in case of collapses or handle the bowling force.
You change Ponting or Clarke or anybody in the team nothing will happen because their winning combination has gone (Gilly,Mathew,Symon,Warne,Mcrath) that what reason for their recent defeats.A good team only create a good captain but a good captain can not create a good team.Now Australia may require another 10 years to re build their team just like West Indies.This is Indian times they can rule another 10 year in the cricket world.

Australia might need 10 years to reach top again, but a good captain makes a good team. Look at Steve Waugh, in 1999 WC AUS struggled to win against scotland but by the end it became an unbeatable team. That's what a good captain can do, he just had one star performer back then shane warne and even McGrath was not all that confident but all that changed and remained like that for almost 10 years.

You are wrong. Good Captain can also make good team. There was no doubt Hayden, Gilly, .... are greats they dont need any captain to tell what need to be done. That is Shane Warne keeps telling their team dosent need a coach, as each one knows their responsibility.
Dhoni and Ganguly are goo captains there are no doubts. Ganguly to me is fantastic captian..who showed that attitude which none of the Indian Capt has before. I am very sure if Shane Warne is made captain there will be lot of difference now...He will motivate this team and I wont be surpraised if Eng lose also from here.

lol India ? India needs bhajji to save matches by batting..still early days for India..India has no aukaad to rule for 10 years..
All other teams peaking at the right time, but Aussies are struggling instead of peaking. At least let other team win the cup.They are paying the price for their worst and hateful behaviors.
bechause of arrogant behavious of Clark, Symonds had to prematurely bid goodbye to International cricket. Imagine Symonds instead of Clark in this lineup and u will find that they still have dcent batting lineup. Their another problem is with captaincy. Ponting is very good batsman but not good captain. Ponting won all those trophies bacause he had a very good team. To support Ponting, Warne can be inducted in the team as coach. Today Shane Warne is best cricketing mind in the world cricket and aussies shld utilise him.

I think OZ cricketers and slection comittee was very over confident about the team 2 years back.. now they realise the fact.. where they stand... they have to change the captain first and new talents should be given the chance... for spinners they can contact Anil kumble..
