@Jamnotlegend. Check their records playing against South Africa in South Africa.
Dravid averages 34 in tests which is 20 runs below his career average.
Sachin averages below 40 in tests and a paltry 26.10 in ODI. So your statement cannot be farther from the truth. The fact is they have terrible records in SA compared to their career records.
Dravid atleast has a 45 average in ODI playing in SA against SA. I believe Dravid has the technique to do well but Sachin does not. He will fail again.

I know you know Maths.... 39 is indeed below 40. So?
If someone can score with an average of 40 without having technique (according to your "intelligent" analysis); I think he is doing very well indeed... He should simply carry on... ;-)

Have been watching your absurd comments regarding Sachin and now on Dravid. You should immediately go for a mental check up, as we all feel before you start running around in the street with no shirt and may be no pant, timely cure will be beneficial for you.
Indian team doesn't want greentops. plus there is no guarantee is 3 indian pacers will remain fit. And SA is used to playing on greentops. So indians are requesting them to have flat tops.

sparxsparx, so whats surprising in that? SA knows that our pacers are far better than there pacers. so if they are afraid of producing greentops it is quite understable. who would want to be white washed in their own country?
South Africa and Australia have defeated India in India in test series. But India has never defeated these two teams in their homes. The reasons are obvious. India has never produced pacers of the quality of McGrath or Alan Mcdonald.

:) Yeah... we all know what happened in Sydney... Our 3 batsmen gifted their wickets to a rank part time spinner in the last over of a 100% drawn test match... Don't get to see many of those, do we?

Opinionated Man:
Sorry.... wrong analysis...
A certain group of 3 Indian tailenders stepped in and "gifted" their wickets to a rank part time spinner in the last over of a 100% drawn match (despite the controversies)... Do you disagree with our Melbourne massacre? Where did Bucknor appear there? And finally, even in Sydney, Bucknor and Benson gave wrong decisions in favour of India too, in case you noticed...
