need big hitters in world cup as it will be played on indian pitches, and on indian pitches now a days 300 plus score is easy to make, so to chase 300 runs we need good and big hitters i got few names who have ability to hit big shots
yousuf youvraj virender rohit robin dhoni sunny (punjab) sourav ambati
you can add few more or remove names from above list

Pathan should bat at 7 in the world cup...But, I think when Dhoni comes back, he will include Ravindra Jadeja in the team instead of Pathan as Jadeja is Dhoni's pet...Just assume, yesterday if Jadeja was played instead of Pathan... :)

Ihear this often for Yuvraj ,Pathan and the like .Fact is if the hit rate is not even one in five - it is wasting a place . If it is one in ten - it is bias of selectors . one sunday does not make whole week.All the same wonderful ,wonderful job done .Kholi should be given canes in his back for the way he got out - inspite of first three matches.

There are few players capable of turning the match in their teams favor, these kind of players are normally less of technique and more of natural talent, like virendra sehwag, youvraj singh and yousuf pathan. Form of these players goes up and down but yes they can fetch the victory from opponents. When you are good technique player you try to play the ball on its merit and when situation need pure hitting no matter where the ball is going but important is it should cross the fence and here these kind of players are more useful then good technique player. I still has doubt about yousuf’s ability to negotiate short pitch bowling. But yes you can say India got no.7 on Indian pitches. GM to all comrades

Robin Uthappa is a great player. He must be give more chances and encourage. He is a match winner. He is much better than Vijay for sure. He can destroy any side on his day. He must be given confidence and he will play his best.

Did not I say that Murli Vijay must be remove, Murli Vijay must be remove - like that many time? See what happen yesterday when Srikantha at last hear me and removes Murli Vijay. Parthiv Patel give very good opening in last matches. But if listen as I said to input Uthappa then Uthappa hitted sanctury and India win in 40 overs itself.
Srikantha has improve by not input Murli Vijay, but he must also improve by output Ashwin and input Kumbli.
Srikantha is very bais he must stops select Tamil nadu player everytime in squat.

Why don't you try becoming a part of Team India cricket selection committee?
You would put all 11 members from Karnataka. Isn't it? When will guys like you grow up? We are Indians not Kannadigas or Tamilite or Maratha. You are biased in your mind and want to prove that others are!
And yes, first take some English lessons. Otherwise you will be "outputted" from internet :)
So, we are best ODI team if we play for a series between two teams, and the so called 'best captaincy' was not the reason for all the success, but good match winners in the team are.

U r very right. Dhoni has hogging the limelight though he does not deserve it. I tell Pathan is much better destroyer than him. Dhoni shot to fame for his big hitting, but Pathan is much better. He is one on his day would get u the world cup espcially in India. Need to encourage him.

i believe india's biggest loss is the loss of etiquettes and mutual respect.Its not the loss at ground or at sports which hurts but these losses hurt badly
