now since rcb have refused kumble,..m.i should go and buy out kumble...he is known for his fightng spirit...however his already poor fielding with age effect is his big minus...still rcb should have retained him as he is known to be ambassador of karnatak

Now that they have been dropped, they should not opt to play for RCB even if RCB bids for them. As far as the "Ambassador of Karnataka" goes, There is no relation in RCB and Karnataka, it is simply a Profit making group which has nothing to do with players from that region.

I agree with you. But Kumble is now a Cricket official. Is he still allowed to play competitive cricket?
I like Kumble. I am just asking the question to make sure that the reporting is accurate.

Hi Guys, This is heights of hypocracy. Well vijay malya figured, he can buy the same players in auction for less.
If u people were in his shoes and if you have to put ur own money, will u take Michale Schumaker or Narayan Karthikeyan in ur F1 team?

Young Kartikeyan is a better choice than Michel. ICL was started to give indian youngsters chance to lock horns with international greats and make them better. IPL is not fulfilling those objectives and promoting foreign youngsters like Shaun marsh. Indian youngsters should be given chances.

Well retaining a player costs money. KKR and RCB have to shell out minimum 1.3 million USD each to retain Ganguly and Kumble respectively. Considering that both are about 40 year old, chances are high that there will be very few franchisees bidding for them and hence they can be picked at a much cheaper price in the auction.
