The next three tests would decide the future of Ponting as both captain and player, and also players like Marcus North and Simon Katich. These guys are not getting any younger, and unless they perform exceptionally well in the remaining games, it seems absolutely certain that atleast one of the three would get axed from the team for ever. Given the fact that there is nobody in the team capable of leading the side other than Ponting, his spot seems secure atleast for the time being.

Katich is injured, so he is out of the series. North has to be dropped for the next test. Bring back Nathan Hauritz and drop Doherty. I also think they should give a new player a debut. He needn't have much experience just some evidence of talent. The aussies need to surprise the english now.
yes, swann the best bowler today, they are believe swann is match winner he did it. he is clean off spinner (original) he is not a cheater he bowled clean, he get it clean image. he never say i am best off spinner. cricket lover feel swann is the best. if he is a indian, indian commendatory (sunny, arun, ravi)sad he god of spin.
Australia would not have lost the Ashes series of 1970-71, if only the Australian selectors had not deliberately ignored Bill Lawry's claim for inclusion in the national side.

Yeah, he is the best by a mile who has done well everywhere and ag the best. HE Gives that edge to England's attack, a colorful character, he adds charm to the game. Said to be a good joker as well with a nice sense of humour

And he doesn't have to bowl Doosra or Teesra. Our spinners are so engrossed with Doosra that they tend to forget the Pahla (The basics).
